Question for Ric

one of my post vanished. i posted 2 consecutive posts on page 7285 of the PL charges thread around 8am today and the second one that referenced my daughters as teen lady blue and teen lady red has vanished.
if i broke a rule which i highly doubt i'd love to know why so i don't repeat it.
the only thing i can think is it was off topic, but even then it was only one of many off topic posts by others and others are still there.
someone replied to the post too and thats no longer there.
very odd.

It wasn't me that deleted the post but having looked at the page / posts (including the deleted one as I have special Mod Powers to be able to do that) I can only ask what you thought discussing Lady Teen Red and Lady Teen Blue had to do with City's 115 charges?
My only surprise is both of your threads were not binned - and in fairness a whole lot of other equally off topic posts too.

i figured it was due to being off topic, but wasn't sure as so many other posts were off topic.

there were lots of holiday posts by others about meeting non blues etc so it was in keeping with other posts.

lots of others posted re partner/family interactions when talking about 115. which in essence was what mine was about. how the family ignore me when i talk about 115.

no worries, it just irked me that mine was seemingly singled out and there was no notification as to what rule i had violated. i didn't delete my account so no harm done.

Yeah don't disagree with you - how it usually works is someone hits the report button and we Mods get a notification that there is a report. We read the comment and go to the thread via a link given.
The comment in question is worthy of deleting because it is racist / sexist / homophobic / off topic etc etc etc so we delete it and then the poster - like you says ''but what about the comment on the page before, that was worse than mine'' and they are most likely correct, but if one of us Mods don't see it and no one else reports it then it stays up there. I've been a Mod for over 10 years and have never been in the Womens team forum, barely in the politics thread and don't think ive been in the players performance thread and very rarely the match day thread. Many Mods will be the same so there may be many comments that should be removed for a whole host of reasons, but unless reported we Mods have no idea they are in there!
