All valid points but Mercer was still waffling as ever.

He was. Shame really as when he’s been on before and I’ve seen him I’ve thought that he has been fairly straight forward - I may not agree with what he says but I did like that about him. Same with Emily Thornberry. Although they both talk over people which I’m not a big fan of and he’s a bit more sneery than Thornberry.
