Question to all those who think we have blown the title..

Some fans need to grow a pair, ffs, cracking under this pressure, this isnt pressure, having to beat stoke and hope others lose to stay in Division 2, that was pressure, i didnt sleep all that week... this in comparison is easy, and i for one am still enjoying this season... it took goal of the season to stop us yesterday and not one of the top 5 has won at Stoke, so we are doing alright,
4 points from this week is a good return considering Chelsea are resurgent... there is a long way to go, i thought i wouldnt have to say this these days, but to use a phrase from our dark days in the depths, keep the faith, if we dont get them this season, we will get them next...

Our next 5 games are crucial, we might have to win all of them to only be 3 points behind at derby day. We should win 3; West Brom, Sunderland and Wolves. The other two, Norwich and Arsenal away we have to go there and prove we are capable of not only winning the games but winning the league too.

If we forget about our game against United for a minute, and presume they will win every other game they play, that means they would have won 16 of their last 17 games!! If that happens fair play to them and in that situation I don't think you can say we have thrown it away.

We are one point off our entire last seasons total with EIGHT games to play. Even if we lost it after having a 5 point lead, it would still have been an unbelievable season.

Four, four, fucking two

I am pretty happy overall with the progress we have made this year in the league(not cups)
I don't think we will win the league but for me it's not through our lack of effort to win it, it's just that the rags are on an exceptional run. We could well finish on 85 points or so and not win it. Just have to hold your hands up if that's what happens.

We have not quite got that killer mentality that they have that turns a loss into a draw and a draw into a win away from home.

If you think of the 2 points we thre away at fulham, the one at Sunderland and one at Swansea, the point they gained at Chelsea and the two at Norwich, that is a 7 point swing. We would still be 4 clear and we are not, down to our own naivety and there battle to the final whistle qualities.

Put simply, yes. Going Arsenal, Wolves and hopefully Newcastle away. If we end up 2nd in the league that to me is still something to be proud of and as a fan I will applaud the team and manager for their efforts.

Lets face it, we can still achieve 90 points, if the rags get more than 90 points then you can't do anything but take it on the chin and respect the fact that they, over the course of the season have been the better team (horrible to accept but.....)

I felt that we wouldn't win the league when they came from 3 down at Chelsea, I expected them to drop points in at least 1 of the Arsenal, Spurs, Norwich & Wolves away games. They didn't!!

Now I am left clinging to the hope that due to results yesterday, Blackburn & Wigan will play out of their skins against the rags and one of them can nick a point, giving us the opportunity to close the 3 point gap I expect to be opened Monday night.

I still have hope, but thats all it is hope.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm...there seems to be some posters missing from this thread..
