Is Tevez proof that nobody cares what you do off the pitch as long as you perform on it?

The Tevez situation is unique in world football, I think it is a one off, and I think the club have handled it well. I want rid in the summer, but because we are challenging 'them' for the title, I want us to win it anyway we can.

Along the same lines; Balotelli has lit up the Premier League, both with his headline grabbing performances and his "antics". Does he have a place at Eastlands or will he be moved on?

I think he will stay, simply because it is Mancini. I think he needs to seriously mature next season or the fans will turn on him.

The Champions League must have been a massive disappointment, was it too much too soon, tactical naivety or something else? As a follow up what happened with the Europa League exit?

It was dissapointing to go out, but 10 points in such a hard group including an away win to a 2nd seed group was brilliant, and I think those stats are overlooked. The Europa league was more annoying. I think it was naivety and a lack of importance of the competition, but still not good enough, particularly when cooefficients are so important.

When you saw you 8pt lead disappear, did you think you were copying our collapse of 95/96 and what happened to get you back on track?

First up, it was a 5 point lead once we had played the same number of games, and well, really, I think the players just got their heads down and worked. No presure allowed free flowing football and the grit from the likes of Barry, Kompany and Aguero ground out results.

How much of an impact do you see the FFP having?

Minimal impact, this is the idiots at FIFA we are talking about.

Are you lot taking as much delight from Liverpool's disastrous league season as we are?

Oh yes, it is truly hilarious. Can't stand the dippers, and losing to them in the CC semi-final on that cold Wednesday night w
as a season low-point.
Honestly, how did you feel when Chelsea were buying the title a few years ago, and how do you feel now?

I was fine with it, mainly because they were fighting with United. Although I (obviously) have some bias, I don't see it as being any different from United in the past 20 years.

Do you think Mancini will be there next season? do you want him to be?

Yes and yes. No hesitation.

How much of this season is down to the management team and how much is it due to the players?

I believe it has been down to the players. People like Kompany seem to lift the team more than David Platt and co.

What's a realistic aim for Man City next season? Where do Man City need to strengthen to achieve this?

The title, hopefully retaining it! We need a winger, a defensive midfielder and a possible striker (depending on who is sold) to ensure we win it.

Who has been your player of the season?

Kompany, solid. Barry has been brilliant too as well.

What has been your biggest frustration this season (can be performances, players, opposition, media, fans, anything)?

Chelsea fans singing stand up if you've won the league, everything united have done, the bias media, Kenny Dalglish's defence of a racist, Kolarov's shooting......

Which managers have impressed you this season?

Pardew and Woy, on and off the field, pure class.

Which Premier League Players have stood out?

Ben Arfa and Krul from you, Rooney, Mata, Vorm, RVP, there's a few! Ba and Cisse are awesome as well.

Which are your danger men that we should be looking out for?

Yaya's storming runs, Clichy's top attacking and defensive play, Silva's trickery and Aguero's tenacity.

Which Newcastle players are you worried about?

Cisse due to his form.

Which have been your 2 stand out games this season? (One involving Man City, one without)

I was at the 6-1, it was incredible. You lot beating 'them' 3-0 was great to, Phil Jones' finish was something to behold. Your recent win at Stamford Bridge was good too!

Which fans have impressed you the most/least?

Swansea and Newcastle top as always, Sunderland and Chelsea idiots.

And finally what do you predict the score to be?

3-1 City.

Is Tevez proof that nobody cares what you do off the pitch as long as you perform on it?
No, I think the way players behave off the pitch is important too. He ultimately apologised and the manager forgave him which in turn meant we did as well I think. Better to pay him and have him playing than be paying him and have him playing golf on the other side of the world, whatever happened.

Along the same lines; Balotelli has lit up the Premier League, both with his headline grabbing performances and his "antics". Does he have a place at Eastlands or will he be moved on?
I think I'd probably give him another season. He's heading towards his last chance for me though. If he can cut out the needless, silly stuff from his game then he could be brilliant.

The Champions League must have been a massive disappointment, was it too much too soon, tactical naivety or something else? As a follow up what happened with the Europa League exit?
I think you could say he got his tactics wrong in some games but Mancini is the expert. Perhaps the lack of experience as well so we should do better next season hopefully.

When you saw you 8pt lead disappear, did you think you were copying our collapse of 95/96 and what happened to get you back on track?
I wasn't too old then so don't know too much about that season. What got us back on track was just giving it everything to make sure we finished strong and also teams realising them lot across town aren't as good as they're made out to be.

How much of an impact do you see the FFP having?
I think it'll curb our spending but we probably would have done that anyway. I think we'll pass them without any real issues. I think they'll work but I can't see any clubs not making the new rules.

Are you lot taking as much delight from Liverpool's disastrous league season as we are?
I'm not a huge fan of Kenny so yes I am!

Honestly, how did you feel when Chelsea were buying the title a few years ago, and how do you feel now?
I never really thought anything of it. If anything it made the league a bit more exciting and some of the football they played and the goals they scored around that time was really good. They also brought Mourinho to the Premier League who was great to see manage.

Do you think Mancini will be there next season? do you want him to be?
Yes. 100% sure he will be. If we win the league then I'd give him a new contract. If we don't then let him see out his contract (one more season) then see how he does.

How much of this season is down to the management team and how much is it due to the players?
I think the staff have been very good, particularly Mancini in these last few weeks. I think he's beaten Ferguson at his own game, whatever happens now. Platt and Kidd both seem to play their part too. The players have been brilliant though and they've gotten us back into this with some brilliant performances.

What's a realistic aim for Man City next season? Where do Man City need to strengthen to achieve this?
I think we should look to win the league, win a domestic trophy and get towards the latter stages of the Champions League. I think we need a winger or two to add a bit of pace and width to the team. Probably an extra defender too.

Who has been your player of the season?
David Silva. His form has dipped towards the end of the season but before that he was fantastic.

What has been your biggest frustration this season (can be performances, players, opposition, media, fans, anything)?
I think the media's attitude towards us is frustrating because we know so much is either inaccurate or just very bitter. We've learnt to live with it though. I'd probably say our European form. We should have first gotten through our CL group and then got to the final of the Europa League when we went into that.

Which managers have impressed you this season?
The way Brendan Rodgers has got Swansea playing is fantastic. It's great to see them play that way and be fairly successful. Pardew has done a brilliant job in building you up. His signings have been great and for me that's the standout thing. Lambert also deserves a mention too for doing so well in keeping Norwich up with relative ease.

Which Premier League Players have stood out?
Robin van Persie has had a brilliant season. I'd like to think Sergio Aguero has stood out to other fans. Cisse for you has had a great impact since January and Demba Ba was great before that.

Which are your danger men that we should be looking out for?
I'd probably say any of the front 4 and Yaya.

Which Newcastle players are you worried about?
Definitely Cisse after his performance in mid-week. Cabaye's creativity will pose a threat to us and probably Ben Arfa.

Which have been your 2 stand out games this season? (One involving Man City, one without)
Got to be the 6-1 at Old Trafford, an amazing day. I'd probably say Arsenal beating Chelsea at the Bridge 5-3 was a brilliant game too.

Which fans have impressed you the most/least?
Napoli and Bayern's fans were the best we've seen at the Etihad overall. United's fans were very poor last week. Your lot were probably the best in the league to be fair, said that at the time!

And finally what do you predict the score to be?
I think it will be tight but City will get stronger as the game goes on and we'll knick a couple towards the end. Either 3-1 or 2-0 to City.

Most football fans are fickle, I don't want him playing though.

Along the same lines; Balotelli has lit up the Premier League, both with his headline grabbing performances and his "antics". Does he have a place at Eastlands or will he be moved on?
I think he still has a place.

The Champions League must have been a massive disappointment, was it too much too soon, tactical naivety or something else? As a follow up what happened with the Europa League exit?
Not respecting opponents enough, and therefore making ineffective rotations.

When you saw you 8pt lead disappear, did you think you were copying our collapse of 95/96 and what happened to get you back on track?
We never had an eight point lead. Kompany returned, Lescott returned, Yaya returned, Richards returned, Silva returned and after two consecutive matches came back looking less fatigued. At various points we were missing several at once. Our first XI is as strong as any in world football but injuries or suspensions in key positions can fuck us up completely as we only play one way.

How much of an impact do you see the FFP having?
We have made it into the castle as the drawbridge is raised and the portcullis comes crashing down seconds afterwards. It will have more effect on the Newcastles of the world.

Are you lot taking as much delight from Liverpool's disastrous league season as we are?
A bit, I don't care about them that much but then I'm not a Manc.

Honestly, how did you feel when Chelsea were buying the title a few years ago, and how do you feel now?
They were taking titles off United, what do you think?

Do you think Mancini will be there next season? do you want him to be?
Yes. Not that bothered. I think his fate is attached to Balotelli's. If Balotelli fails then so does Mancini.

How much of this season is down to the management team and how much is it due to the players?
The management procured the players and has greatly improved the ones we already had.

What's a realistic aim for Man City next season? Where do Man City need to strengthen to achieve this?
The title, the latter stages of the Champions League. We need to bring Razak (youth player) into the fold, Denniz Suarez (more yoof) might be ready for next year too. Bring back Guidetti (successful loan period in Netherlands) as cover. Plus, two wide forwards, and a decent backup in central defence.

Who has been your player of the season?
Yaya, Kompany, Silva, take your pick.

What has been your biggest frustration this season (can be performances, players, opposition, media, fans, anything)?
Long corners, Joe Hart's distribution (keep it on the fucking deck, play out from the back or throw it out)

Which managers have impressed you this season?
This season alone? Pardew.

Which Premier League Players have stood out?
Quite a few of yours.

Which are your danger men that we should be looking out for?
C'mon, you know that surely.

Which Newcastle players are you worried about?
Tiote, Ben Arfa, Ba, Cisse

Which have been your 2 stand out games this season? (One involving Man City, one without)
Sick Swan massacre. Everton 4 - 4 Rags

Which fans have impressed you the most/least?
Swansea. Rags.

And finally what do you predict the score to be?
Not tempting fate. I'll take any fucking win. I don't care if it's the most undeserved jammiest rag-like win in history.

Is Tevez proof that nobody cares what you do off the pitch as long as you perform on it?

Shows more about the battle between player power versus club then anything else. He is sheer class and I hope he stays really, your family make big mistakes in life but you forgive and move on. The club is an extension of the family - thats how I see it anyway.

Along the same lines; Balotelli has lit up the Premier League, both with his headline grabbing performances and his "antics". Does he have a place at Eastlands or will he be moved on?

Needs to grow up fast - on pitch attitude needs 100% improvement - might turn into a real prospect then. Another season at least he's only young so can change.

The Champions League must have been a massive disappointment, was it too much too soon, tactical naivety or something else? As a follow up what happened with the Europa League exit?

Team was still coming together really, so many players bought so quickly has had many negative effects (jealousy for one) but many positive ones as well.

When you saw you 8pt lead disappear, did you think you were copying our collapse of 95/96 and what happened to get you back on track?

We missed key players basically and needed a striker to help Sergio out, missed Tevez as Edin and Mario both lost their way.

How much of an impact do you see the FFP having?
None, money creates money - 110m for two season nike deal I think or something like that - not bad.

Are you lot taking as much delight from Liverpool's disastrous league season as we are?
Not bothered what anyone else does, just want some success.

Honestly, how did you feel when Chelsea were buying the title a few years ago, and how do you feel now?
yeah felt it was wrong, kind of feel our money is wrong too but its the whole system which is wrong really - without this cash, manure and co would be top forever. FFP will only seal the top teams into position - some fair play hey? load of shit!

Do you think Mancini will be there next season? do you want him to be?
double yes

How much of this season is down to the management team and how much is it due to the players?
both

What's a realistic aim for Man City next season? Where do Man City need to strengthen to achieve this?
win league - semi CL
good cup run

Who has been your player of the season?
silva, Sergio, Hart, Lescott, Barry list goes on

What has been your biggest frustration this season (can be performances, players, opposition, media, fans, anything)?
none

Which managers have impressed you this season?
Yours, Norwich, Wigan and ours of course

Which Premier League Players have stood out?
RVP, Cisse, Ba

Which are your danger men that we should be looking out for?
front four Tevez, Sergio, Silva, Nasri

Which Newcastle players are you worried about?
front two, Cabya ? (not too sure of spelling)

Which have been your 2 stand out games this season? (One involving Man City, one without)
easy the sick swan and wigan 1-0 manure

Is Tevez proof that nobody cares what you do off the pitch as long as you perform on it?
One thing I have always admired about Tevez is his ability to leave his off the field problems where they belong without letting them affect his performance negatively. I think City benefit from Tevez allegedly only wanting to play for himself, but I still hate him for what he did in Munich and his voluntary exile in which he managed to turn himself into a victim and divide the supporters when we needed to be a strong, collective unit.

Along the same lines; Balotelli has lit up the Premier League, both with his headline grabbing performances and his "antics". Does he have a place at Eastlands or will he be moved on?
I think he has a place at City, but only if he can cut out the childish antics that have landed us with negative press every week of the season. I do like that side of Mario when he's handing out money in Manchester after a Derby win, or having the audacity to bicycle-kick a ball in to give us the lead. But when he's letting his naivity get too much in the way of his performance and general mannerisms it does beg the question of whether his potential is worth what he's put us through.

The Champions League must have been a massive disappointment, was it too much too soon, tactical naivety or something else? As a follow up what happened with the Europa League exit?
Going out of the Champions' League wasn't a disappointment as such, because I don't think many people realistically thought we'd get through after the trouble Napoli gave us in the very first game. There's definitely an air of uncertainty about Mancini's ability to lead a team in European football, but the naivety was shown in the performance of the players too. It's going to take us a while to take on Europe in the way we're hoping to.

When you saw you 8pt lead disappear, did you think you were copying our collapse of 95/96 and what happened to get you back on track?
We were never 8 points clear, so I won't answer this one.

How much of an impact do you see the FFP having?
Not as much as the press seem to think. We generated the largest ever audience for a club football game on Monday; do you think UEFA are going to want to miss a cut of that kind of revenue? Not a chance.

Are you lot taking as much delight from Liverpool's disastrous league season as we are?
100%, yes.

Honestly, how did you feel when Chelsea were buying the title a few years ago, and how do you feel now?
I felt like any fan of any mid-table club felt - jealous. However, a lot of their purchases were needless, Thiago and Kezman for example, but we appear to have bought well regardless of what outsiders think.

Do you think Mancini will be there next season? Do you want him to be?
Yes and yes.

How much of this season is down to the management team and how much is it due to the players?
Like any team, apart from United, it's a 50-50 split between players and staff.

What's a realistic aim for Man City next season? Where do Man City need to strengthen to achieve this?
A domestic double wouldn't go a miss.

Better options to step in for Kompany and Lescott and a wide man to offer a Plan B would be a start.

Who has been your player of the season?
Micah Richards.

What has been your biggest frustration this season (can be performances, players, opposition, media, fans, anything)?
Edin Dzeko. To start off so well, raise so much expectation and then slip back into what he was before the summer was disheartening and pretty frustrating.

Which managers have impressed you this season?
Alex Ferguson, Alan Pardew, Paul Lambert, Brendan Rodgers, John Terry, Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard.
|
Which Premier League Players have stood out?
David Silva, Robin van Persie, Clint Dempsey, Sergio Aguero, Yohan Cabaye, Papiss Cisse.

Which are your danger men that we should be looking out for?
David Sival, Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez, Yaya Toure.

Which Newcastle players are you worried about?
Yohan Cabaye, Papiss Cisse, Demba Ba, Hatem Ben Arfa.

Which have been your 2 stand out games this season? (One involving Man City, one without)
Manchester United 8-2 Arsenal, Manchester United 1-6 Manchester City.

Which fans have impressed you the most/least?
I don't really have an opinion here.

And finally what do you predict the score to be?
Annoyingly, I'm not sure.
