Queues

You know this 'inserting the mobile into the scanner' thing? All I do is hold my mobile in front of the little half circle thing and then it beeps and lets me through .... why don't I have to insert my phone in? (Not that I want to just interested!)
On Saturday I bought a ticket for my lad and it was totally different to mine. I had to insert the phone in the scanner bottom end up to get him in and then hold my phone the normal way for my season ticket. It took a while to get us both in after all the different ways of trying, it’s no wonder queues build up.

My friend works for a Premier League club. They are starting mobile ticketing next season. They are being courted by the company who did both ours and Liverpool's new system. I was interested to hear that he's been taken for a day to see it in action - at Anfield, even though our stadium is much closer. I wonder why that is?
Hahaha dont think you’d need Sherlock Holmes on the case to solve that mystery…

Maybe he should ask to be taken to our ground to see the carnage it producs each week. Daughter spent about a minute on Saturday holding her phone in exactly the same way she has been doing all season. Eventually it worked. Same happened to my mate and then miraculously my phone worked for the first time all season. The whole roll out has been a disaster yet the club appear deaf to all the moans. The only way that they might listen is if we all stay outside and miss half the game, actually that is happening already as people can't get in. A girl and her partner were turned away from our turnstile because having queued for 10 minutes they were told they were in the wrong queue due to her having a bag about the size of a phone and it needed to be searched! Nobody tells people there are separate queues, nobody tells you how to hold the phone, nobody is doing anything about the clusterfuck that is the modern 'football experience'. If it isn't sorted very soon then I can see match days crowds diminishing even further and renewals will continue to drop without us having the luxury of a waiting list.
Agree. Palace was a major issue, from where I was trying to get into South Stand Level 3 . In fairness , the previous home games this season have been ok for getting into. However, City are sucking the joy out of going to home games.

I've been to every away game, like others on this forum, and not encountered any issues whatsoever, with , as far I could see, Leicester and Chelsea doing full Covid checks as well.

The City staff and stewards outside the turnstiles are not , generally, to blame for this shitshow, they're just firefighting on behalf of the club and its disdain towards its own fans. This isn't going to go away unless the people who run this club wake up to reality of what they've created and perhaps update 20 year old turnstile technology .

I'll stand corrected , but I'm not aware that the club have made any statement or apologised to a significant number of fans for Saturdays events.

Dreading the next home League game , be interesting to see how it pans out at United's turnstiles on Saturday. Cant wait !

Opened up more turnstiles today and there were no queues.
Who'd have thunk it?
Why did it take the powers that be this long to do it when it was so obvious that this was the solution?

I got there late but I saw on Cheesy's video that there were extra turnstiles. That sounds like a very good move.

I always like Cheesy's videos because he interviews some great City fans and personalities. I really like the Goat's half-time assessment. City fans are great ambassadors for the club. Everyone on that video spoke so well about City.

Didn’t know where to moan about this so this page will do, what the fuck is the food situation about? No burgers, can’t get anything but a sausage roll even before kick off.

We arrived late today, outside SSL3 at ten to two, managed to get to our seats for kick off. Let's hope this is the new normal.
