Queues

Im surprised the queues at P werent worse considering everyone from M had to go in entrance P.

That said, there was still no excuse for the fan (50year old approx & sober) refusing to be searched because he didn't want to be searched (no other reason given) holding up the queue for 2-3 minutes whilst he remonstrated with the underpaid staff, who are there simply to try to prevent us being a stastic on a news report about a terrorist attack.

I doubt our club, or the other clubs in the Premier League, have decided to go to the extra expense of having the security checks simply to irritate people - they must have had advice from someone, hopefully not from the pleb who forgot his fake device at Old Swampford.

It seemed much better last night, but not sure if that was because it was a lower attendance than a league or Champions League game. They were still searching people at our entrance, but it only took a few minutes to get in. Hopefully it'll be like that again next Wednesday.

They mustn't if you think it was half full, we get enough stick from others for attendances without city fans adding to it.

Sorry that jibes about the stadium not being full for a midweek cup replay against Huddersfield upset you. :(

No need to apologise, if you're happy lying to belittle City's support then that's your prerogative.
Belittling is a tad harsh. I couldn't give two shits how many people were there or not, I merely stated the fact that the queues were much shorter due to the stadium being 'half full.' You took it upon yourself to be a pedant.

You crack on, I bid thee good day.

I was re located from the 3rd level due to it being given to Huddersfield. I was given a seat in level 1 block 117. On the email and text from City I was advised to use either entrance S or W.
Now I admit I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but even I thought, in any alphabet, there is a fair gap between S & W . But hey ho City don`t make mistakes. (ha)
Anyway as i come from Joe Mercer Way the first entrance I see is W with quite a small queue (relatively speaking). I take my place in the queue and I am soon searched and wanded and activate my seasoncard. At this point a steward tells me I can`t get to 117 from there as if I turn right it is blocked by the glass tunnel and if I turn left I can`t get through due to away fans section. He advises me to go back out and re enter by entrance S. After explaining my seasoncard has been activated he says he will get security from outside to take me around and re enter me (whoooer). The security outside says he cannot move as hes been told to stay on that queue. The steward then tells me to stand there whilst he gets another steward to escort me to S.
I now feel like a kid outside the headmasters office, whilst everyone in the queue thinks i`m some sort of undercover security. Maybe this is why they told me to get there early. Eventually someone is available to escort me to entrance S.
Now surely someone in our wonderful ticket office would know that due to a glass wall being built then access is restricted and inform fans correctly. Or then again just keep telling everyone to get there 60mins early.

Why do Our Football Club, put entertainment on at City Square at least till 15 minutes before kick off, when they are asking us to make our way in to the ground an hour before kick off.Does not make sense!!!!!!!!
