Queues

Yes.

Walked straight in today.

At last, City have finally solved the queuing issues.

I'm sure £2.50 a pint also helped today.

P1 was much better yesterday, had about 6 there with the wands which helped massively. If they extend the cheap beer prior to the game for every match then that would help again.

you know the cheap drinks is a great idea and maybe opening the gate even earlier will help and why not get the food at a lower price so kids with dads and mums can all have a piece of the pie

M2 SS3 wasn't that bad, I turned up about 3:30, fairly hefty queue but still managed to get in after 15 minutes. Cant complain as its still significantly faster than before. I guess if you roll up at 3:45 and dont make the kick off then tough, get there earlier.

Queues slightly worse than usual on Tower J yesterday. 4 stewards doing the security checks . Another steward comes along and tells people to form another queue. He starts the checks with the wand. Steward next to him tells him he needs to get people to unzip their coats and take their hats off. New steward replies....."No we just need to get them in now. They're going to miss the start of what they've paid for."

Baffled

Being told by a 15 year old wand waver that he has to do this because, 'you could bring anything in' pissed me off immensely.

15 minutes at P1. At least the kid with his guitar, singing under a tent seemed to be enjoying himself.

3 years on, or whatever it is, and the queues are still a problem and an on-going issue.

You would have thought those in-charge of this at City would have got to grips with it by now.

But as one season follows another, so do the queues outside the turnstiles.

Why can’t the club implement a quick but safe queuing system?

I go to away games and there are little on no queues. And if there are queues, they are constantly moving.

I dread to think what will happen if and when we do expand the NS, and the Etihad holds 60,000+.

Sort it out City, or keep on pissing the fans and your customers off.

I queued for nearly an hour at Ticket Sales because my Seaon Card wouldn’t active. I wasn’t the only one, hundreds having the same prob. Subsequently I missed the first 30 mins of the game. I’m sure some people actually missed the first half.

It's say’s something when United are more efficient at getting fans in and out of Old Trafford, and they have 20,000 more fans to deal with.

The answer is simple, more people, and probably more turnstiles.

M1 queue ridiculous, M2 no queue, about 500 go in through M2, yet it has the same number of turnstiles as M1, where 6000 (maybe 3000 if there is another entrance to the SS3 ?) enter.

However, why was today so much worse than most of last year, we get there at the same time pretty much every match, today was the worst I've seen.

Cleavers.

Can you keep that to yourself please. ;-)

I use M2 and always get in quickly.

Question.

Why not allow fans to use their cards at any turnstyle as long as it’s for the correct level?

The queues will sort themselves out.

What’s really f***ed the Etihad up is the corporate area’s. Those area’s have blocked off large sections of concourses that fans on each level used to be able to move around freely on.

M1 is the only way in to SS3, for Home fans.

I think the queues for M1 today were a function of it being an early Sunday game and it being the 1st home game. I got there about 5 past but was in by 20 past and had time for a leak before being in my seat for the teams coming out. So despite joining the queue well outside the perimeter fence, it wasn't as bad as it looked. Obviously it was going to be worse for those arriving later, but tbh it's the same people every week who leave it until the last few minutes, so I have little sympathy really.

But a few more turnstiles/stewards for M1 would be much appreciated.

I feel your pain mate. Citizens Matchday, wouldn't let me in at the turnstile. Lots of people in orange bibs but not a clue what to do. One poor fella with a crowd round him on his phone telling whoever was on the other end supporter numbers and another fella then swiping us through the turnstiles.

I missed the first 15 minutes or so. Felt sorry for the blokes outside taking the grief.

Makes a mockery of the so called security when people are shouting out supporter numbers and swiped through.

I thought P1 was much more efficient today (& faster). It could have been because they now have a dedicated bag queue. They were sending anyone with bags to the end queue & the unencumbered folk were getting in really quickly. When I got there at 12.55 it looked quite long & I thought oh no I won’t be in for KO but I was in by 13.03 which wasn’t bad.

So I thought great they’ve sussed it but obviously not! Sorry for all the people who had problems & hope they get sorted out soon.

Well this is it bag queues , some people go to a football match with backpacks you would take to go hiking filled with stuff takes longer to get through saw so many of the, today and past seasons why you need that much stuff to go to a football match I don’t know.
