Played with him for Sunday league football team for a whileNo mate. He lived around the corner from me growing up but he was a couple of years younger. Top lad, used to be in a band and they were getting it together again. Marie said it was sudden in the early hours so it sounds like a heart attack.

Ah, sorry to hear that mate, he used to come round to my mates occasionally for a brew, he was a few years older than us, think he was about 17, us about 14/15, but always remember him being a really lovely friendly lad, testament that I only briefly knew him, yet still remember him 40+ years on.Yes he did
