R.I.P Chris Perkins.

He
No mate. He lived around the corner from me growing up but he was a couple of years younger. Top lad, used to be in a band and they were getting it together again. Marie said it was sudden in the early hours so it sounds like a heart attack.
Played with him for Sunday league football team for a while

Yes he did
Ah, sorry to hear that mate, he used to come round to my mates occasionally for a brew, he was a few years older than us, think he was about 17, us about 14/15, but always remember him being a really lovely friendly lad, testament that I only briefly knew him, yet still remember him 40+ years on.
R.I.P Chris and condolences to his family .

You couldn't help but like the bloke. He was a bit younger than me but growing up you knew everyone in your area. He's lived in Cornwall for a while now.He has five sons too, the youngest only 21. I met him and Maria at Wembley when we played Arsenal. Drank with them Friday and Saturday and had a curry with them after the game. Met them for a couple of drinks before the Watford final. Last time I saw them was last year before the first home game of the season when I had a drink with them in Altrincham. A big lad with a big personality he will be sorely missed.
