Radamel Falcao Zarate

All from a dud Agent fraud, don't worry. In the real world, Falcao said a few hours ago that he's looking forward to scoring against Chelsea on Friday. :P

Erm, hope so. They're saying £37m plus £160,000 per week. Clutching at straws?

i seen 36m euro's which would be stupid

Athletico bought him for 36 million when we took Aguero off of them. So they would at least want that.

With the debt Athletico don't really have the power to dictate what they get. Spanish taxman would step in and accept an offer probably :P

Falcao is an awesome player and if we didn't have Tevez and Dzeko he would be soo good here.

He's making a mockery of the European champions whilst being in an average team.

Although I feel another CAM or a good CM is the most vital position to address (Almost impossible, but Fabregas would be a fantastic signing), I'd love to go all out for him.

5 goals in 2 games, fantastic record in Europe, hard-working and produces the goods on the biggest stages. I could go on for hours, but come on Mancini, sign him up.

The Ruskie wants to know if it's acceptable to make a bid at half time. If so, he's put his kit man on alert

Chelsea are ready to splash £48m on Falcao

Radamel Falcao, the Colombia striker whose hat-trick shot down Chelsea in the European Super Cup, may join the London club in January.

Reports in South America last night said a pre-agreement between Falcao's team Atletico Madrid and Chelsea has been struck in a deal expected to be worth at least £48million.

Falcao, 26, has already scored six goals in three matches this season and is seen as one of the world's deadliest strikers.

Last season, only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo found the net more times in La Liga than the Atletico goal machine.

But with crippling financial problems at the club and with Falcao's agent, Jorge Mendes, also in charge of transfers at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea may well get their man when the transfer window reopens on January 1. Roberto Di Matteo's side have made a promising start to the Premier League, winning their first three games.

Yet the European champions were brutally exposed in their first real test of the season in Friday's Super Cup.

And it was Falcao who did the damage, putting in a man-of-the-match performance in the 4-1 win while also becoming the first player to net a Super Cup hat-trick in 35 years.

Chelsea, Barcelona and Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala have long coveted the Colombian, but Roman Abramovich's club look set finally to win the chase.

I know we don't need him but it might be worth gettin him to stop chelsea gettin him, I'd be very worried about facing him...

Agreed, He is the "real deal." He was simply superb in the Supa Cup against Chelsea.
I did think Aguero's injury stopped the potential transfer of Dzeko. Before January it's now up to Dzeko to prove he is top class with Balo, Guidetti and Aguero out.

Fuck that we have to be in the mix for this guy!! We can't let him go to the chavs as he would be amazing for them!

I don't think Dzeko will be as good as Falcao.

If we want to dominate the PL and has a real opportunity to conquer Europe, then we need to have Falcao.

How the fuck are Chelsea hemorrhaging cash like they are yet expect to comply with this FFP bollocks?

maybe because roman knows FFP is bollocks. as long as you don't spend more than psg there isn't a lot UEFA/FIFA can do.

If there is any chance of him moving we have to be in for him. When a player of his ability comes available you can't miss it, llike we did with Aguero last year.

would be amazing to have ,he is a top class striker....but we already have 3 class strikers in tevez, dzeko and aguero.i say get rid of that fool balo and bring through guidetti and give the lad a chance...balo will never be a world class player ,he may have the odd good game but is to unrelyable and i bank my house on it that he will never mount to much than a media loving fool,,will gladly come on here and say sorry if he proves me wrong

he's not a world class and will never be one, he will always be a 4th choice striker until we offload him in January.. Balo on the other hand will sign a new improved 5 year contract.
