Rag Takeover

Utterly false.

This type of attitude is why our economy is buggered. Like it or not, United are currently in serious financial difficulty.

I would shed no tears to see United in real financial difficulty and though I am aware of what a recession is I am certainly no financial expert. However I just can't envisage the dream scenario of them in the state for example that Portsmouth are in. I could be wrong though.

You could well be wrong - 2 - 3 more years of the Glazers and they are fucked - so just keep praying that things stay as they are

The Glazers have just made a statement announcing in no uncertain terms that the club is not for sale, under any circumstances.

I think Damocles' point is that the exact same thing would have been said about Lehman Brothers two years ago.

United's problems revolve around their ageing squad and the imminent retirement of their greatest ever manager. How do you replace four or five key players when you're already having to sell your best younger players just to stay afloat? And, remember, they have to do all this while continuing to win trophies. Something's got to give eventually.

Red knights indeed, the knights of 'nee' more like. It just gets funnier and funnier. A joke club where 75p out of every pound end up in his back pocket, long may it continue.

Haha, well the fuck in, Uncle Malcolm. I don't want them to go down the drain or anything but a few years of genuine sweating and fear after all their 'little City' jibes are right in order. Was on the train to Wembley yesterday and some rag twat was giving it big about Wenger, Hillsborough and City so I politely asked him why he wasn't in green and gold. His reply? *In a cringeworthy Essex accent* "Mate, am I from fucking Norwhich? No. So shut your trap."

Thick twat.

As stated I am no expert on finance and so am to read Damocles point and hope that he is right. I still think though that how the replacement of Ferguson turns out will be the pivotal moment in their history.
