It's never been a 7 point lead. Fergie made that up and everyone believed him. The biggest lead was 5 points except when we kicked off earlier on the same day. Most of the time it was a 2 point lead so there's been a 10 point swing which, although disappointing, is nowhere near as bad as some collapses in previous seasons eg when Arsenal pulled back a Utd 12 point lead.
