it was a great comeback but it merely papers over the cracks and deep down, you probably know it

Of course there are cracks. With so many players injured - constantly having to rotate etc, we are hardly going to be firing on all cylinders.

without vidic you are vulnerable to balls thrown into the box, flick ons etc (torres should have won game from one) so games that you may think are easy actually spell more trouble for you, especially away from home

Our away form is the best in the premier league.
Vidic is a massive loss, hence why lifting the league title this season would be all the sweater.

over a season any weaknesses are exposed, you can't keep covering up for them through refs or comebacks, your keeper and centre halves will hopefully cost you the league

That has been said all season, and we are still right up your behind.
If we get a result against Livers.cm and Spurs, that will put us in a great position - especially with the run of games we have in March.

we have conceded the fewest goals in the league, scored the most and have the best goal difference and i can't remember the last time this combination didnt produce the league champions

That means nothing at this juncture. You are a mere two points ahead of us. I mean, in all seriousness, we have suffered horrendously with injuries; yet, we are still right in it
.

any time you drop points is a good day for us

Your away form gives me comfort too.

IF - small word, are you really pinning your hopes on it?

You talk as if we don't have top players of ability.
If we can get every fit, and keep them fit, we have as good as chance as you - if not better - because we have been here plenty of times before.

Markbmcfc is truely stunning in his awfulness.

I don't take any pleasure in posting like that, but some people do need a reality check.

You cannot surely think that on current form, we will win the title.

We have to step it up a gear, United won't do us any favours.
Our current league form is ahead of (an therefore better than) theirs so yes.

If we lose at home to Blackburn then I'll worry.

This will be the case if beating us to the league will Rank as on of his greatest achievements then okay fair enough. The Spurs game and the game against us will be huge for both teams also at home I'd expect us to beat you. I think Spurs can beat you also. Like you said we will see how much bottle you have against us and Spurs.

We have beaten you at your place this season, so I see no reason why we can't do it again. As for Spurs, we have a great record there.

Well you'll be playing our first team and keeper this time and may even play against 11 men.

do you know what, i used to dislike watching yoonited but now i hate it, because of one man...not baconface..nor camel gob or bryan giggles...fucking wooney. he is such a soft arse...tantrums tiarrahs and swearing...what is he about?? he used to be a hard working/tackling lad who put the effort in....now he's an absolute prick who runs to the ref threatening him after every "foul"

i will never watch england again if this pathetic tit plays for us!

To the rags talking up their "easy run" coming up, they probably thought the same before Blackburn at home with Newcastle away.

It means sod all, other teams have seen they can attack you and win this season.

If you recall, the team against Blackburn consisted of Park and Rafael in centre mid; Carrick and Jones at CB, with Valencia at RB. An appalling result, but one that would not have happened had we had a balanced side. We were just poor against a good Newcastle team. It happens.

So my point was correct then

Make all the excuses you want, but it still doesn't hide the fact that we came to your ground massive under dogs and won.

-- Sun Feb 05, 2012 11:37 pm --

Insofar as we had a massive injury list. I doubt that may injuries will occur again this season.

You have lost a *few* key players, and have looked poor away from home.
Losing key players hurt.
