It's only because he plays for City, who don't sell their key players, that Real/Barca don't come knocking IMO. He's miles better than Ousmane Dembele.
 
The winning goal distracts from his finish for the uncounted goal. That was a nice hard volley to hit
 
He's now scored as many this season as Rashford has in his United career. If only he could finish like the wonderkid.
 
Gotta love sterling. Weirdly reminds me of a world class Shaun Wright phillips?

If sterling was a united player the media would be branding him the English Ronaldo and our saviour. Unfortunately because he's a city player, there trying to sell us loftus cheek as the next big thing

Sterling will sit at home now, and know that by the end of November, he's already made sure he's one of the key players in any silverware we might win this season. No matter if doesn't play again all season, if we win the title, fans will remember his late goals as one of the contributing factors.

That must be quite a nice feeling in a squad as hypercompetive as city's, where you are never sure of getting a game next week because the guy next to you might step up and be brilliant.

In fairness, Rashford has scored 13 league goals in his career. Sterling 13 goals in all season.
Wiki has Rashford at 13. But don't include his duffer cup and fastest loser tournament goals for some reason.
So if you knew Sterling was on 13 this season. Wiki would lead you to believe he's level with the headless chicken unless you scroll down.
