Could have had two himself tonight. Must be terrifying having to face him. Stoke right-back was in a state of complete panic when he looked up and saw Sane and Sterling standing in his area in the first half.

Coming back from injury without even a sub appearance as a warm up thought he was excellent.

One of the best when up against a defender one v one. His dribbling is unreal.

Great skill, should score though

It's a really bloody good save. I suppose he should have dinked it a bit, but 9/10 times the keeper doesn't get that leg out and down so quickly.

Most importantly it's great to see him have the confidence and composure to do stuff like this. I thought he had a real mean streak tonight, he knew he had that LB on toast and gave him an absolutely awful time, over and over again. Too often I feel like when our wingers have the beating of someone, we don't keep going back to them to exploit it over and over again.

Yeah I think he should have just hit it(laces) rather than just try to pass it in or even any leverage on it and he scores a career best goal.

But Sterling running at his fullback is the best Sterling and a joy to watch, it's a shame he doesn't do it every game though that could be a instruction/confidence thing? who knows.

Fantastic energy this young man has. He was nicking balls of people in the fashion of the worlds greatest tackler; with some of the best movement i have seen of any player ever of and on the ball. Keep it up mate.

I should note i am going to copy this verbatim to the Sane thread as well. They are both brilliant talents with stout attitudes.

Great game and on another night would have scored 2.
This, shows how far he has come under Pep that we are disappointed with him not grabbing a couple. A bit rusty this evening but a good game to get some confidence back, wingers thrive on confidence and that comes from beating your fullback and stretching your legs. Well played Raheem.

P.S He is top of the league.

The more they boo him , the more determined he has become and a definite penalty in the first half when he was pulled back , referee seen it but i think Moss genuinely just wanted to make a game of it , there was no other reason for not pointing to the spot.
