Should be the outright runaway winner of Young Player of the Year but then again he's not a patch on Dele Alli, is he?

We look more threatening with Raheem in the side. Those runs are excellent and a great cross for Merlin's first.

Alli has been trash this season compared to last.

Sterling has to win, no-one else they can give it to surely?(case could be made for Sane or Ederson if only he was born 11days later)

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

(i have no idea why i am booing just thought i would join in)

Thought he was excellent again tonight, like he'd never been away.

I do like our balance when he's on the right and Sane is on the left.

Sterling is looking so sharp and defenders are scared to death when he runs at them.....BUT....he just has to do better when he is clean through and GJ is right next to him. I think he will terrify any defender in the world one on one....can't wait to see him go up against the likes of Jordi Alba.

It’s unquestionably his biggest weakness, to the point that I genuinely don’t even bother to get excited when he’s clean through, as I know that he will contrive a way to fuck it up. When he has no time to think and plays on instinct he’s a great asset to us, but his lack of composure and a footballing brain - for want of a better expression - must drive Pep mad. Swansea away is just about the only time I can think of when he’s had all day to make a decision and pick his spot and hasn’t made a complete hash of it

Get real, pudge. The Scottish lad at The Swamp, MackerNoHomininnhy, only has to get someone on the night to spell his name correctly and he's walked it. City players, the City team, and the manager will never get the recognition that lies in the hands of the fellow professionals tainted by the rantings of the RDAHMeedya. If City had spent this season dressed head to toe in scarlet, and Pep had donned a magenta ribbon, we would not be shoved onto anywhere between Pages 7-10 of the DT after we had ripped a side apart. But there again, Southampton sacking their manager, Wiiiiiiiist Hiiiiiiim's problems, and the magnificent 37 England capped Carrick's retirement would naturally take precedence over a team playing the most scintillating football seen in the PL! Let's be fair about it.

He’s not a patch in Leroy Sané. I think Sané is probably the second best young player in the world behind MBappe

I just wonder whether it is part of the grand plan for Raheem to miss the number of chances he does. It'll keep defenders' minds in turmoil not knowing whether it's going past the right or the left hand post, or over the bar or even out for a throw in. When they've decided it's row Z he can rifle it into the top corner.
