Well then, it seems we've we'vegot a winner :)
He's top of the league
It seems silly how England can't get the best out of such a class pacey winger like Sterling. I mean sure, the lad still has some way to grow, but then it's a bit of a numbers game with him, give him enough opportunity's to run with the ball and having enough outlets, and after enough times most likely you will see results. Versus Slovenia England had 5 shots on target of which one was converted, whereas really you'd rather would like to have something like 15-20 shots on target by the whole team, that is likely no single players fault.
Only by alphabetical order...Only by points difference ;-)
foden could probably shine for england tbh. even nowIt is down to the fact we do not have central midfielders good enough to supply decent passes to forwards.
When England get the ball it is into Henderson who goes sideways or backwards or plays an ambitious forwards pass that rarely comes off. When City get it into De Bruyne you have quality ball into forwards with movement everywhere. England need to find a world class playmaker to get the best out of our attacking players.
If you want that to happen, we'd better sell him to United.foden could probably shine for england tbh. even now
