7 goals. Needs 4 more to equal last seasons in all comps. Come on lad let's have 20!

I'm most pleased for him. He's taken so much stick from all corners. The media love a hatchet job on him which I believe has racial tones behind it.

Yet the work he's done off the pitch with City in the community doesn't get recognised.

A great talent who has shown glimpses of really exploding and now looks like the penny has dropped.

Bizarre that there's a seemingly universal agenda against him in the media. How does he not make espn's team of the week?

What impresses me at the moment is his decision making, and movement off the ball. He has grown exponentially in terms of reading a game, in terms of both when and who to pass to. The Merlin goal was a perfect example. A lethal cross from Leroy and he first times to Merlin who knocked it in. An exquisite goal. He is also running into perfect positions to either take a shot, or lay off the ball to another player.

The youthful front three with Gabriel and Leroy are a joy to watch.

Why would you think they have singled out Sterling as opposed to any other black player?

Sterling on Arsenal's interest: "I didn't think about it for one minute. I didn't need to speak to Pep about it."

Raheem Sterling: "Pep has been massive for me, especially with basic and simple stuff."

Fantastic to hear.

The scary thing is that there's still so much to improve. But his movement and positional sense are incredible this season and that's why he's scoring goals.

This. Pep has given him so much confidence now that his composure has naturally increased with it.

I think he's getting over mistakes a lot faster too. The season before last (and sometimes last season) you could see him lose a bit of focus if he mis-placed a pass or missed an easy chance. Now he bounces back immediately and goes again. It's refreshing to see.
