Sterling is the best English footballer currently and if he's not already world class then he is right on the cusp.

One of his biggest weaknesses which was still a factor up until a year ago was his hesitancy in the box. As a winger making outside runs and taking on full backs he has always been very good to watch - albeit inconsistent - with his balance and speed. However what we're now see is a player whose football mind has been refined to making the same movements time and time again and to trust his ability. Sterling is a now a dynamite in the box. He's putting up numbers as good as a top class centre forward and opponents can't handle him because they know he can do them on the 1v1 as a natural wide man but now he is dragging the defensive unit apart by his timing of runs.

It is a joy to watch him and maybe he can become an Arjen Robben esque player for many years to come.

Always preferred him on the right, but this season especially he has turned into a hell of a LW. Every time he cuts onto his right foot on the edge of the box you expect him to score now.

He's incredible. Literally a complete forward. He can make impact plays on the right, on the left, behind the striker, etc. He tracks back and always puts in work. His positioning and attack IQ is both so underrated.

Sterling is becoming more of the complete forward rather than a winger. He is creating space for himself and other team mates with his movement in central areas when attacking. The way he created the space for his goal last night is what I expect to see Aguero doing more of!
