Great player for us but he us ran his race and we sold him at the right time for the right money and it’s telling that we are not that arsed he has gone to a so called rival.
Go and ask pep or all the backroom staff if they would rather keep him or sell him to Chelsea. I believe most would rather keep him.
He wanted to leave and chelsea were the only realistic target.

The most interesting thing about this is that a few weeks ago Zabaleta said Sterling wouldn’t be a legend because he opens his mouth too much. Seemed a bit harsh at the time since there was no real public evidence of this. Now we’re seeing some comments slipping out. How did Zaba know what was coming?
What ego and why must there be a good or bad guy ?I think it inadvertently puts Pep in a good light. Team comes first and egos will not be massaged.

Some players have egos (in that they feel they should always be first choice) and some managers like to be in control.
Sometimes this leads to an impasse between 2 good guys.
