He is 20 years old!
If you seriously think he is nothing but pace then you don't really know much about football, yes he still has a lot to prove but he has a massive potential. Last season in a good team he was fantastic but this year he is in a bang average team and the only star in it, he is the main focus for any opposition. If we sign him and and next season he scores 10 goals and gets 10 assists he would be worth every penny. Plus we will have Navas aswel.

I've watched them quite a bit and he hasn't impressed me. He's a one season wonder.

Your missing the point, in that 1 season he was playing alongside 1 of the best players in the world in Suarez and a in form Sturridge, this season he is liverpools only threat, for us he could be playing alongside Pogba, de Bruyne, silva and another one of the best strikers in the world in Aguero. If you play barca you have to stop Messi, Suarez, Neymar and invest a, at Real you have Ronaldo, Bale, James, benzema and Isco, at Bayern you have to stop Robben, Ribery, muller, and Gotze. Liverpool have Sterling! And he's fucking 20!
Not only that we need home grown players and he can play in 4 positions.

I think you are missing the point. He looked good surrounded by top players. We don't need those players. Nasri, Dzeko, Navas are players who look good when surrounded by top players. What we need are actual top players. Someone who'll impact a game consistently even if the other top players are injured or having an off day.

A lot of us don't believe Sterling can be that guy. My evidence is how good Rodgers has always made wide players look. Scott Sinclair looked as good as Sterling under Rodgers, he just didn't have Sturridge and Suarez opening up the game for him like Sterling did, or the Liverpool hype machine bigging him up. Stick Sinclair into our squad and look what happened.

I don't care if he's 20 and could turn into a world class player. Right now he clearly isn't despite what the daily mail tell you. He certainly isn't worth anything over 30 million.

The brodge was on talksport this morning and Alan Brazil asked him about sterling signing a new deal, he sounded very down beat and said nothing s been done. Sterling will move its just where.

I completely agree as far as price he isn't worth more than £30mill nor do I actually think that we will pay £50 mill either, and yes he isn't world class but it doesn't mean he won't be in a couple of years and not only that he is home grown. In a season where Liverpool have been verry average he still has 11 assists and 7 goals which is the same contribution as Nasri and Jovetic combined in a team with kun, silva and yaya, not only that but he did that at 20 years old!

So as much as the press are overrating raheem I think that many on here are are under rating raheem, it's funny really that he's been shit this season and still offered as much as Samir and Stevan who cost us just short of £50million and pick up around £250,000-300,000 a week.
