He's not for us.
We're trying to win CL (admittedly, a tall order). He's not at the level we require, English or not.

I'd rather spend the money on Barkley.

Your opinion mate but I honestly don't see alot in Barkley at times. Think sterling could be more effective than him in CL games especially

He clearly showed that this season mate

Who Barkley? Honestly haven't seen much of him especially this season to judge critically but when I have doesn't impress me. But not going to judge as I haven't seen a lot of him in honesty

I have changed my mind about Sterling. He will be great in a great team. He just needs to recharge his batteries over the summer and he will bring good stuff to the table. A suicidal Scouse is crying on Talk Shite just now.

We have tapped him up, haven't we?

Fucking great signing.

He's fucking shit.

I will delete as appropriate in a month.

Private conversations he had with the manager repeatedly ended up in the newspapers, from as far back as 18 months ago. Shaming and bullying leaks appeared as early as three weeks into private contract talks between Sterling and Rodgers - well within normal contract negotiation time. At this point, Sterling was fully committed to the idea of staying with the club long term, with only minor issues to be resolved.

Slippers are suicidal about it, which tells you something. He would be a great addition for us and he's home grown.

Hahahahaha Carragher and Sky doing an absolute number on him now, the narrative has been set that he's a wrong un. They clearly think he's City bound. Weird that I don't see the same things being said about Milner?

So Sterling isn't good enough but Barkley is....... There's many a player out there better than both but if it's English that's needed, Sterling is your man all day long.

sounds like he's being bullied again on TV by the slipper spokesman.

That's just it isn't it, the media create their own narrative and if he's leaving their beloved bin dippers for City they are going to pitch a massive fit.
