Sorry...its those teeth!!!! Couldn't see what I was writing...partially blind now!!!!

I wonder if Wright Phillips in his prime would command such a fee in today's game.

On the face of it, to me, Sterling is no better and hasn't shown any more potential than sweep did at a young age.

I'll happily be proved wrong.

Hahaha im the wally in that one the only one facing forward (arm in the air) in sheer awe of being champions !
Ha, I was just stood in shock with glassy eyes!
I can't remember anybody doing the Poznan at QPR, it was mostly a blur, and yet I can remember little moments with amazing clarity.

sorry to hijack the thread but can anyone find that info off what Mansour, kaldhoon and their investment companies are worth? some dirty dipper needs teaching a lesson that he has heard Mansour is only worth £1bn and that's all he is involved in!
last time i saw anything he was worth about $1bn, so plenty in the tank when the sheikh get bored. ;)

There will be "increased scrutiny" on Sterling now because of the price tag according to Jamie Carragher. OK to spend 36 mill on Donkey Carroll then eh YNFA

He undoubtedly improves upon navas i totally accept that, just hope he has the attitue of the players we are discussing above. Their hunger and will to win was evident and made them great. Owen and fowler both ruined by cruciate injuries imo. Fabregas strikes me as a model pro. Too many young english players never fufil obvious potential. Hopefully lads like silva and aguero will influence his behaviours and attitudes.
Absolutely...it is totally up to him now...I think one thing with our club they wont stand for any dickheadedness- real word ;). I think with Silva, Aguero, Yaya, Hart, Vinny, Zab...he's got great pros there who are not in the media drinking, smoking etc so hopefully he can fulfil his potential.

Are you actually being serious here?

SWP had played about 15 games in the Prem at that age. Raheem had played 95.
