And the United fan from Port Talbot in South Wales has so far received around 500 calls and 300 threatening and abusive textsa little collateral damage... hey ho, poor rag

I really thought the rags would be vicious on this one. But it seems the enemy of my enemy is my friend regarding this transfer. Their speaking sense and I agree with most of what theyre saying over on Ragcafe

Of course there will. An army of scousers waiting to slag him at the first missed shot or misplaced pass. Twats. There will be "increased scrutiny" on Sterling now because of the price tag according to Jamie Carragher. OK to spend 36 mill on Donkey Carroll then eh YNFA
Uhmm If a team attacks more they leave gaps and concede more. Not sure how much simpler you want it. Chelsea score less because they defend more. We score more because we defend less. Our balance wasn't the best last season and hence we din't win the league.
How do you guys see him developing at City? The reason I say this is that he still needs a lot or development in his game. We always felt Arsenal was his first choice as he is a Londoner at heart and that would have been a more ideal fit for him in terms of where hes at in his game.
He still needs incubating and Wenger clearly is a man for that. Were doing something similar and Rodgers too has that ability, Henderson has developed massively under Rodgers, Coutinho, Sterling, next on the conveyor belt is Ibe, and Can, who looks really promising.
How do you see Pellegrini as a player developer because he definitely needs it. Not just playing him, week in week out, but teaching him how to play in training.
Sterling has a natural ability to get the ball to stick to his feet, but we most definitely taught him a lot of his game he possesses so far.

A settled defence of Hart, Zaba, Kompany, Mangala, Clichy will be just as strong as Chelsea's defence. Mangala with a full season under his belt will be ready to kick on now. We just need MP to stop tinkering the defence.I saw enough of City's defence last season to know it was not that good for a team challenging for the championship.
