Couldn't give two fucks about threats, but when kid's are involved, I'm glad I reported the ****. Doubt I was the only one, the fuckin prick.

Maths is maths and if this dude can sell pure merch to us mugs then any money is business, and therefore profit.

he's on that much because the hype sells that much and then some.

How is it that barca didn't ruin football by buying Suarez and neymar etc for huge money when city buy them we ruin football? Why do the media hate us? City is going to be one of the biggest chances over the next 10 years for bringing the champions league to England. I really don't get it.

Speaking with a few blues in the boozer tonight. One rag, thrown in for good measure.

I've known these people for many a year, now. One a ST holder for donkeys years. Old school blue. His take is that Sterling is a ****, not overly keen on seeing him in a blue shirt.

The rag, unfortunately a mate of mine, reckons the transfer is 'everything that's wrong with football', and a 'brainless club that doesn't know how to use its money'.

Now, I've been pretty persistent in my take on this. I think Sterlings agent is a twat. The interview with the BBC was out of order. The kid had his head turned, and his agent wanted a bigger slice of pie. That is about as much negativity that I will put forward in this transfer.

The castration and assassination of the lads personality since then, in the media and from Liverpool, has been fucking disgusting. It worries me that certain factions of our fan base are jumping on board the media bandwagon, because they can't see the wood, for the fucking trees.

It worries me that we are more than willing to join the other side. I couldn't tell you if it was an agenda, it's created itself most probably through jealousy but has become more structured and directed as time has passed, fucking vile in fact.

The only answer is to keep moving because despite all, it is working. There will come a time soon where another generation of media take a different angle on the way we are perceived and reported.

Interesting mate.. good views. I wish Liverpool didn't overprice him then it wouldn't have gone on this far. If a player is unhappy let him leave.

If you have unhappy players put more work in to player satisfaction rather than iissstorreeee

From a Liverpool perspective, they had a value. When you consider that 20% of any fee would leave for QPR, then it was always going to be factored in. It's theoretical and difficult to argue, but with the British premium my opinion is that they valued him at 35 million. Give or take.

Naturally they didn't want to sell so tried to price us out of a sensible market. We have money, but I would like to think we also know where to draw the line. As a club we were willing to give what was required.

I think the drawn out nature of the deal was simply a case of who held their poker face longer.

Don't forget that Sterling also gets his loyalty bonus from the transfer fee. I've heard reports of it being 4M.
So 'Pool gets a mere 31M for their best young player.

Haha this poll on the Telegraph is laughable... Do the poll participants actually believe Schweinsteiger is better?
ok.

We'll see haha

That's hilarious. Sterling is a decade younger and will have a much bigger impact than an aging and injury prone Schweinsteiger.

You think Bayern would have sold him if he was still top class? Absolutely not.

Everything on the telegraph and also mirror has become laughable. All of the articles since he was signed makes it seem like RS did the most awful thing ever conceivable leaving the scouse - not in any way to advance his career. Even on the DT article saying how Raheem's family is getting insults and threats over Twatter that shite poll is displayed right in the middle. Joke of a paper.

Reading that the rags paid £39m for an aging injury prone German who they'll get two years out of and a half decent Frenchman puts our transfer into perspective. For ten million more we've signed the best u21 in Europe, he's English and could play for over a decade at the highest level
