That might be true, but as many have mentioned, we are in desperate need for english homegrown players, so buying players from the Bundesliga isn't really something we do now.

Very true. As it stands right now, we have a full compliment of overseas players and we have to clear away some of these first before adding to the squad. If we add first, we will likely be ripped off by buying clubs as they know we will be desperate to get rid of unwanted players to allow us to slot in new recruits. As for homegrown players, for European purposes all we have is Hart, Wright [ugh] and Clichy so we have room for just one over-age addition, two if Wright is moved on. For both CL and EPL purposes, we will have a tiny squad unless we can find HG quality, yet there is little out there to bridge the gap to what we need. Christ, I'm feeling gloomy right now!

Can LFC afford to drag this out? They need to rebuild themselves and with the new stand and lack of European football, I'd have thought that they would need to sell in order to buy
