Wow this is a bitch fest.....scratching and slapping.....both a pair of egotistical twats......nobody in this world is always right.....give us all a break

Its a forum. You know, one of those places where you can enjoy banter, piss taking and the likes. However,it appears its not your scene,so I suggest you look elsewhere if you`re not into debates.Thats why we have them, because every person thinks they`re right in what they post.
So someone with hardly a post to his/her name has the audacity to call people "twats" so I`ll give you a break ... just log off,if you can`t stand the heat.

Wow.... so bitchy.....

And you can fuck off ... before I scratch your eyes out. ;)

He's trying to say he's not better than anyone in our best starting line up so what's the point of splashing cash on someone below average when he's not even gonna start.
He doesn't have to be "better" just be a good player who offers us something different. If we need pace to break down a ten-man defence, would you rather have Sterling or Nasri?

I'd rather have Navas if I'm being honest.

Sterling has more goals this season than Navas has in his previous three league seasons.

Considering where he normally plays for the dippers there'd be something wrong if he hadn't.

Navas is a winger and that 3 year period allegedly saw his peak. If people deem Navas and his meagre output good enough for us, then I hope they're enjoying our relative mediocrity; it's what they deserve.

Sterling is without question a supremely talented kid who would offer us another dimension immediately whilst also having world-class potential. We have to acknowledge that we aren't even the most attractive prospect in English football, let alone Europe, so we are going to have to buy potential and forge our own stars.

Madness, even mentioning sterling and naval in the same sentence.
Spending money on average talent like Navas has brought us to this stage. Sterling is possibly elite level.

Not gonna start. Are you thick ??? How often do we ever have our "best" starting line up and how often this season,as much as I like him,has Nasri done the business. How often have we said Yaya has played crap.If we have to accomodate him then I`ll let our Manager be the best judge of that.
Below average ? Fuck me thats a piss poor Clarkie.

Of course he's below average, he gets a lot of hype that's why some people think otherwise. Think of it this way, if football their are categories. World class (Messi, ronaldo, ibra, robben, suarez), v.good (neymar, hazard, silva, kroos, bastian,l.moura, sanchez etc), average (Nasri, Willian, coutinho) below average (sterling,Navas valencia etc)

Sterling's not better than any of the average players I've mentioned, fact.

That's not a fact, that's an opinion.

You seem to be forgetting he's just out his teens, you could argue that when Ronaldo was 20 he wasn't as good as Sterling is now.

Statistically Sterling is better than Ronaldo at the same age; importantly, Ronaldo had the likes of Keane, Giggs, Scholes, Van Nistelrooy around him to allow him to develop gradually. Sterling has the huge burden of being Liverpool's main man already, and he's doing it well.

I might point out that I'd have Sterling in a heartbeat, I let the club worry about the price since it's not my money.

But you can sod off with the "we aren't even the most attractive prospect in English football" ;)

So where is he going to play if we sign him as he's no better a forward than anyone we already have, he's certainly not better creatively than Silva, Nasri or Yaya and he's not a centre mid, we have nobody on the left so that's where he'd go and as I said before he can't fucking cross and doesn't give the pass when it's on. What are his attributes apart from being fast?

P.s. I see Fantasy the child has stirred from his crib to proclaim all footballers "mint" and not explain why he thinks it and then cries when anyone disagrees.

Where are we going to play him ?? What sort of stupid question is that.No-one has a divine right to a start so he can play anywhere in that forward line and especially as a midfielder. The negativity shines like a beacon its thats obvious from you.
Fuck me rotten with a used coconut.
I just don't see a £30million + player when I watch him. I don't think he'd be any good against deep lying defences, I don't think he can cross so no I don't want him for silly money, £25million or less I'd be all for it, but not as our big summer signing to solve our problems which as we all know lies in our centre midfield

£31 million not a chance but £25 million and you would be all for it. Ok.

Would he still come if we didnt get champions league?

Things must be bad if richards30 is doubting us finishing in the top 4.

Hahaha they are mate! Can't do any decent dream city lineups! ;-)

In a seriousness though I'm a little more than anxious about getting top 4 at the minute. For incoming signings it would be disastrous and would probably mean our number one targets would move elsewhere.

Top 3 is what we should be aiming for. This weekend will be critical.

Any hint of possibly losing top 4 should be cause for immediate sacking of MP tbh. We'll lose not only sterling but top players who would obviously look for CL involvement in any transfer deal which would ruin our summer plans and more importantly also impact our performances next season.

Something's telling me that we should finish 5th ;-)

It's true though; we were on the way to becoming the best until the Spaniards and Pellegrini came to power and completely sabotaged our momentum with their incompetence.

Why are we buying football clubs around the world when we can't even string successive league titles together? If that's such a wonderful idea, why haven't Bayern done it? Or Barcelona? Or Real Madrid?

Let's be honest, if you're a neutral player, would you join us instead of any of the three clubs currently ahead of us in the league? The prospect of working with Van Gaal and Mourinho is far more enticing than Pellegrini, whereas Wenger, aided by geography, has been able to pull some better players to Arsenal than we've brought in while the amigos have been here.

We are a team that has regularly featured the likes of Navas, Fernando, Garcia, Kolarov and Mangala in the past two seasons, yet our fans think we can turn our noses up at the likes of Sterling?!

The work of Cook and Marwood made us a top club, both in a commercial and sporting sense; their successors are taking us backwards.

You best get in touch with Sheik Mansour and Khaldoun then they need your advice as they haven't seen through Feran and Tkixi's little scheme to sabotage us.
