To be honest I don't get your point. Mine is that I don't really give a fuck how much we pay to get the clubs main targets and we should take the Madrid attitude of not caring what others think. You seem to bizarrely care when the owners don't

Spot on but that's the difference between a club like Madrid and a club like Milan nowadays.

We can choose which path we take, we can change our minds between players based on price, we can haggle and haggle till the end of the window. We can aim to settle into the season by October having lost to a settled Chelsea side but having saved a fair few quid and we can all blame trixi at the end of the plotless season for taking till September to get our squad sorted.

Or we can identify what we need in the squad, we can identify our main targets to fill those slots, we can go and bid for them and get them by the end of June, we can start the season settled, get three point from Chelsea, get mourinho sacked and win the fucking league.

Which way do you think the sheikh will vote trophies or a few million saved?

What do you want as a fan trophies or a reputation for getting great bargains?

The answer to that all depends on how deluded you are as a fan.

For instance, Arsenal Fan would have you believing that being morally superior to all other clubs is better than winning the treble. After all, they finish 3rd and 4th "the proper way", without spending wads of filthy oil money or flipping through a card deck of managers, all the while building their own stadium with their own money. Meanwhile their owners wear sackcloth despite their connections to Wal-Mart and Russian potassium mining monopolies.

A player is only worth his price tag if he is a success, who could argue that Kuns 93.20 was not worth the @£35m alone.

All Sterlings price tag will do is add pressure to him , good Management should help this, , and he will come under greater scrutiny for it, he clearly thrives on having better players around him ( Suarez) and I believe if he came to us he would be a success .
