It's quite hard to judge him by his Liverpool form this season.

The difference between playing alongside Moreno/Markovic and Aguero/Silva is just night and day.

He's their most influential forward by a mile, yet is still only 20 years old. Very impressive.

I don't think he has an attitude problem, he's a winner. It's clear to everyone that Liverpool are miles away from winning regular domestic trophies and Sterling and his agent both know that.

He had a superb season last year when playing with possibly the best forward in the PL,Suarez,so we know he`s capable of performing to a more than decent level. For me its the usual cry of being English but I`m NOT suggesting he`s worth the so called £50M that the Scousers want.

Sterling is young enough to be a City player for 10 years. That'd be £5m a season for a player who's already effective at Premier League level and has done enough to indicate he can become an asset in Europe as well.

In real terms, £50m is probably about 25% too much at this point, but when you're spending £30m on Fernandinho in his late 20's having never played in a big league, or anything between £35-42m for Mangala then £50m for what's been recognised as the best young player in Europe is fair.
