Which is always a sure sign thats he's already had the offers and made his choice.

As was the BBC stunt.

It'll take at least £50m, perhaps more for an English rival. Think he'll stay for at least one more season. Doubt we'll take players in exchange.

Mirror: City will make a £30m bid for Liverpool ace Raheem Sterling (20) as soon as the transfer window opens.

This is also being reported by the Mail who say City are confident of doing a deal for Sterling and would be open to using players as bait.
I told you £30 million.

Could YaYa be reunited with his brother again? They are going to need a midfielder who can't run very much anymore to replace Stevie G!

this crossed my mind. Yaya has the range of passing to play the role that stevie me played in 13-14

but i cant see liverpool paying Yaya's wages and I certainly cant see City sanctioning such a sale

He's fucking overrated.

Thanks.

He's not overrated, he's a good player. He's the type of player that has the skillset to complement a good team, he's not a tevez type player that can singlehandedly drag a team on his own.

No, he's not being marketed by all and sundry as a 'good player', as they're quoting £30m plus (most say £50m). I'd agree that he is a good player........therefore I think he's massively overrated by the media, pundits and some on here.

There is NO WAY ON EARTH that Liverpool will accept a £30m offer for this guy when they do not want to sell in the first place ... I hate to remind everyone that Liverpool are only 4 pts behind us and with Pellegini looking absolutely clueless at the moment I myself am very worried that Liverpool may pinch the 4th spot which would mean virtually zero chance of him wanting to come to City anyway ...

Can only assume that the way he has gone from the saviour of the dippers / ingurland to crack head/druggie/lazy/greedy/overated player in the space of a fortnight within the rag/dipper media means the deal is already done and he's coming to us.
Obviously the negotiations were ongoing when all the ex-dippers were wheeled out in the press to say he should stay put and wasn't ready to move to another club. Now we have entered stage 2 - slagging him off and smearing his reputation, followed closely by quoting his transfer fee/wages as double the actual figure and an outcry over City 'ruining football'.
He wouldn't me my first choice tbh, but if it gets under the skin of this many cunts he's probably worth it just for shits and giggles.
