A comparison with De Maria who cost £65 million text which I feel confirms we made the right choice.
Sterling is at the beginning of a major career.
De Maria 28 in February 262 games 38 goals scored 227 of those games were with Benfica, Real and Utd, top teams in their league's he scored 32 goals in total for the 3.That's a goal every 7 games playing for very strong teams. Raheem has played 95 games scored 18 goals in a weaker team retrospectively than Benfica, Real and Utd will be 21 in December yest he has been scoring every 5 game's if he carries on at that rate he will have scored 52 goals. If he plays at the same rate as now he will have played 316 games scored 63 and still be 27. I think odds are in our favour dude. Anyway let's focus on something we can both enjoy the scoucers hate venom tears delution and denial at them being the Spurs of the North!

Good signing (if it's official) still not announced yet.
Maybe he's just laughing so much at the sad red dippers he's failed the medical?

Support another club? please note: For our current owner, £50m is like you buying your bus ticket to collect your dole. His business (MCFC) will get £50m just for entering the Premier League next season.

Humiliated how.

Sold an asset for a huge wad of cash and the biggest deal in world football for a player under 21 who we bought for 500K,fantastic business from FSG and everyone is saying that from other clubs fans to the media and the only ones who disagree are City fans obviously.

We are absolutely blessed with potentially fantastic young attacking talent in Ibe Wilson Canos Kent and Ojo who are all teenagers and are knocking on the door to the 1st team and will get a chance under Rodgers.

Most fans were angry & gutted when Alonso Suarez Torres left and when gerrard nearly left for chelsea twice, the consensus from liverpool fans on websites blogs reddit etc is it's not that much compared to there aforementioned players, seems to be from those fan based sources that we got a fantastic deal selling a player with potential and far from the finished product and we move on helped by a huge fee we got.

The fact of the matter is that you are now just a selling club. Two consecutive summers have seen you sell your best player to clubs better placed to win things. Yeah you've got a very good price for Sterling, but when all is said and done he wanted to leave your club to win trophies. I wonder what hurts you more, the fact he he feels that way or the fact he's come to Manchester to do it?

Rooney 2002-2004 67 appearances 15 goals - 18 years old - 30m (the equivalent of 70m today) = Saviour of English football and a great piece of business by the rags

Sterling 2012-2015 95 appearances 18 goals - 20 years old (European young player of the year) - 44m (plus 5m in add-ons) = Vilified, is everything that is wrong with English football and City have been ripped off.

Does anyone else find it interesting thats its only United and L'pool fans piping up about this transfer?

The 2 has been irrelevant clubs striving to be big clubs again? Funny that. Jealousy is an interesting thing.

We keep ruining British football that's why.

When was last time we took our own academy graduates like they did with Di Maria, Sturridge, Llalama and Jones?
