I mean that's just conspiracy nonsense isn't it?

You're claiming half the clubs in Europe are in cahoots with Chelsea to fuck over FFP against their own interests, because it's not like they sell to a few select clubs, they'll sell to anyone.

That is a bit of an extreme end of a take on the point he made.

From what I myself have seen, without truly dwelling on it, there have been a couple big deals that were nowhere near their true value. They make up a chunk of that difference. Some to clubs in china, some in russia, and while that looks dodgy, hard to argue that those leagues do need to pay more to attract players there.

For the most of it though, Chelsea bring in a hell of a lot of young talent, that never gets anywhere near their first team, and gets sold for small profit a couple years on loan later. At one point, i remember noticing they had over 35 players out on loan. The profits o these arent huge, but that many of them year in year out, adds up, and thats where I would say their big income noted comes in at. And yes, nothing dodgy about that.

I guess we have been doing something similar, and it has been working to a lesser extent. The issue there being we more often end up loaning the players to sister clubs that don't use them as much and don't see their value and demand increase.

There's no big deals with Russia.

There was 1 to china, but it's not even the most insane transfer to the Chinese league around the time.

There were a couple. Can't be bothered looking now, but a few moved to zenit and spartak moscow over the last few years. For money that at the time to me at least felt infated. And a couple to China.

I'm not for clarity arguing any sort of conspirscy at all.

I've literally just been looking at their outgoings while writing my reply to PB and the only one to Russia in the time PB is looking at is Victor Moses for £4m, and the only one to China is Oscar.

Pasalic also went to moscow, ivanovic to zenit, i think are the ones I was thinking of. Im sure there was another one to zenit. As i said, can't be asked lookong now.

The rest of it stands though, they make a big profit of buyi g in lots of young players and selling them on after loan spells.

So are you saying you haven’t noticed how many sitters Sterling misses. How many times he is clear through on goal only to fall over himself. Or how lightweight he has become, as he runs into cul de sacs and falls over so often.
I grant you back in the day Sterling has been immense. But my argument is based on recent times and all of the above happen to him almost every time he plays. Now either he is the most unluckiest footballer on the planet or he is a spent force and needs moving on. Either way he is currently not performing anywhere near the ability required to justify his huge wage.
Time moves on.
Nothing you say there backs up your original post where you said he'd been shit for 2 years.
Is he poor now? Yes. Does he need to move on? Yes. Has he been terrible for 2 years? No.

Newcastle will offer bigger wages than spurs. Especially the first couple of big names they sign. Plus, the summer is long time ago when your form continues to disappoint...

People will sleep on Newcastle for a bit until a few decent players arrive. Dont get me started on spurs...they will never amount to anything and even "one of their own" Kane knows this.

Newcastle is absolutely zero chance.

Raheem already earns £300k a week and already a very wealthy man, to the point he only wants to join Madrid, Paris or Barca.

If not, he will sit tight for another 18 months and then walk for free and still be able to choose.

Barca is mutually convenient for all parties concerned, which is why Raheem is pretty calm about his City situation at present.

I would imagine a lot a big name players will wait and see if Newcastle stay in the Premier League before moving there. If they are still in the relegation zone in January, which looks likely, they are going to struggle to sign anyone half decent In the winter transfer window.

Players like Sterling are never going to go there, even for big money, to play in the Championship.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Sterling end up at Arsenal or Tottenham. I think £45m is the right amount for him based on his recent form.
