I was wondering the same the other guy is blaming Sterling for the Chumps league being Chelsea's but it was at lest 10 other players and Pep's bloody fiddling the main culprit.

Of course, handing them the FA cup win wasn't overly clever either, beat them in that and they would have been nervous rather than buoyed up for the final.

Ah well, in the past now I guess.

Sterling out the shout, is it?
I don't know Alf. Every time I come on here I end up questioning my ability to read.

After re-reading my own post, I question my ability to hit the keys in the correct order lol so much for the damned spellchecker lol

If he stays at City for another five seasons, you have to think he'll comfortably make it into the top ten goalscorers in Premier League history.

4. Sergio Aguero 184
5. Frank Lampard 177
6. Thierry Henry 175
7. Harry Kane 170

Nothing has changed. The report was even carried twice by mistake in the Mail by Matt Hughes, as it was supposed to be only in his gossip column, rather than also the splash.

He's said nothing of note, outside of what we know, Raheem is back in the team, scoring goals, has a smile back on his face, Madrid and Barcelona are skint or have other priorities.

To cap it, Hughes also stated that City would want to urgently speak with him as it is not club policy to let a contract go into its final 12 months.

That alone tells you who is flying a kite and trying to read the tea leaves.

The deal has always been sat on the table and if Raheem has suddenly decided the grass may not be greener on the other side, then he's smarter than I thought.

There's nowhere for him to go who can give him the trophies he craves in a World Cup year.

Technically he’s not in the same category as pretty much all our other players. He can’t take the ball in his stride like them, his control and pinging the ball into other players isn’t as good as everybody else. What he does offer is that point of difference, his pace with or without the ball has defences retreating straight away and his goal scoring record is superb, even with the amount of chances he misses. Not our best player but often he can be the most effective.

I'm delighted if this is true. Along with Foden, he is our best winger and our only source of pace.
On the right side yes. Only problem is he very rarely gets to play there. I'd rather cash in on him if at all possible but if he stays that's ok too.

If he signs it's great for all of the academy players to have 1 of England's best players in recent years to learn from is great. I look at Cole Palmer and just imagine how much of a influence Sterling is on him. Along with the likes of KDB. The squad is healthy and Sterling rarely misses many games. Just look how good Liverpool have been with a fit Mane and Salah in there team. We don't have many who play the majority of games in a attacking areas.
