On the right side yes. Only problem is he very rarely gets to play there. I'd rather cash in on him if at all possible but if he stays that's ok too.
The problem is if he doesn't sign , I think he will just run his contract down to maximise his wages and signing on fee

It was Dias and Stones (and the communication between the two of them and Ederson) who kept getting drawn out of position by their forwards dropping deep and leaving space to run in behind, why we lost that game.
Errm, or sacrificing playing any DM to shoehorn Sterling into the team. Should have started with the line up which ground PSG to dust in the semi...

Nobody can blame Sterling for Peps bizarre decision, he wasn’t playing well enough to be in the team and especially if it meant a change in the balance of the team. I don’t think he deserves a bumper new contract if that what he gets but I’m not desperate for him to stay or leave.

As long as he plays better and gets picked on performances. I bet though his phone has been a lot quieter then he thought it would be.

Like the majority I want him to stay, and I want him to look hungry, a bundle of energy looking for goals. It does concern me though that once again we are wondering if he will re-sign.
Is he going to leave it longer like last time ? Is there a problem between him and Pep ?

He can be frustrating, like some have said, sometimes dribbles too much and losses possession, doesnt score many superb individual goals, but injects energy, gets those defenders on edge, and crucially pops up like a Centre forward.
Hope he re-signs.

My concern with raz is when his form dips it dips atrociously and for seemingly very long periods. I'd show caution with this in terms of pay and length if i were making the call.

I'd offer him the same terms he is currently on and long enough to ward him off leaving on a free. He's shown some improvement for sure but nowhere near the level he was at a few years back.

He's back to his best now imo. KDB's game dipped and all our players have had a lot of football.

Rearly good if he signs as i can see sterlin movin on at somepoint and we would get some doe back, personally i dont think he will, and hes gonna run his contract down and go for nowt

If he stays at City for another five seasons, you have to think he'll comfortably make it into the top ten goalscorers in Premier League history.

14. Jamie Vardy 127
16. Robbie Keane 126
17. Nicolas Anelka 125

Must be fake news because apparently he's shit.......

Everyone should look at that table but this time mentally cross out all those above him who actually ply their trade as a centre forward not as a winger.

Unbelievable that people can't see the contribution he makes to the team, whether he scores or not.

This is a business decision first and foremost. Opinions on whether people want him to stay or go is irrelevant when there's roughly speaking a £100 million asset at stake. We have to protect that asset and get him to sign a new contract.

Sterlins 27 now and done amazin for us ,no doubt about it ,yess ups and downs ,but stats are unreal, but its common knowlage that he wants too try it abroad in his career, hes said it himself in interviews many times, with some of the big dogs in spain probly not as flush as normal at mom, thats the move i can see happenin with his contract runnin down, but lets see what happens, whatever happens weve had a great return on the 50 mill paid for him, unlike some other 50 mill players
