Do we still count as a European nation tho in football terms i.e. euros even though we are not in Europe anymore? Therefore meaning sterling is still classed as a European player
No came into effect 1/1/21. They had a leeway for players bought in the 2021 season but thats over.

As it has been mentioned Real Madrid can't sign any more non EU players. Their work around (Vinicius Jnr) will take too much time to process

We left the European Union. We did not leave the continent. We just played in the final of the euros not so long ago.

I don't get why people say this.

We'll cope absolutely fine without either of them and I say that as someone who rates both.
By that I just mean that GJ is very useful for tight games where we have to hassle the oppositions defence physically rather than use craft, in games like Chelsea & Liverpool.

That was all.

Personally I'll be very sorry to Sterling go from a playing perspective as he's been hugely instrumental in our successes during the last few years but if he wants playing assurances and isn't going to commit then we have to take a decent size fee now and move on

I’ve not checked the stat's but has Jesus ever had a more productive season than Sterling ?
I'd doubt it, but I'd also doubt whether there is any season where he's played as much as Sterling.

Its also fairly apparent that Sterling (in a wider role) is normally going to contribute more assists, but then again GJ's physicality contributes more in terms of pressing and closing down.

Gabby is the better finisher (although stats won't prove that). He would of buried that chance vs Lyon for starters.
