I agree with your posts except for the personal tug of war bit, as i don't believe it is.we're just wasting Palmer and McAtee's time and they're the ones we should be working to keep the most. Nice for Pep to win his personal tug of war but doesn't help the club.
When a high profile player goes public, then the club has to play the long game as the transfer window isn't open, so we can't do anything.
Raheem is earning a load of money, so Pep gave him the chance, against a team who are in the relegation zone, to impress and show us all he deserves to be in the team..........
The only positive was that it didn't cost us the game!

I would be interested to see if we could get a straight swap deal with Barcelona for Dembele actually. The money would probably be a wash for both sides.The only places in the world where I can see any potential buyers are North London postcodes.

I like De Jong but i'm a Rodri fan, plus we have Lavia.de Jong and Araujo maybe.
I don't know much about the other lad, but we have a lot of good CH's in the academy.
I know Dembele has been injured but he's more of a like for like swap with Raheem, plus did he pay with Haaland at Dortmund? If so, that might bode well for next season!
