Playing bad or even worse, if it wasn’t for the poor final ball Sterling could have had a hattrick yesterday. Honestly. And it would not have harmed him. How different the latest comments on here would have been. Than again it didn’t happen resulting in another poor performance from the player that will hamper his confidence.

that moment in the first half where he was played through on the left side of the box, tried to control it, kicked it back against himself and the ball bobbled so far away from him it turned into a pass for (Foden?) to cross in sums him up. He's done, he's not here mentally and it's just on Pep for continuing to play him when Palmer and McAtee deserve game time.

Pep played a blinder playing him yesterday. He knew the press were aware that Sterling was discontent about not being selected more, so, knowing we were playing Burnley, he had a relatively low risk option to pick him thus not getting drawn into any nonsense from the press, whilst resting Grealish.

Dont think there has been much argument as to whether Sterling grasped the opportunity.

we're just wasting Palmer and McAtee's time and they're the ones we should be working to keep the most. Nice for Pep to win his personal tug of war but doesn't help the club.

Totally agree with your comments .
Anyone who puts the blue shirt on deserves respect ,regardless of playing good or bad .
Nonsense

Anyone who puts the blue shirt on needs to earn the respect of supporters.

That comment is not associated with Sterling, before anyone starts.

Question is how much could we expect to bank if he’s sold now (no way Barca can afford to pay market value given their current situation)
There’s no way we will/can let him go on the cheap so Pep is playing him in the hope he hits form again and the likes of PSG snd Madrid come knocking.
I don’t think he’s going anywhere anytime soon…
