Something tbh I got sick to fuck with in Scottish football and contributes to the reason I follow City and the EPL more than Kilmarnock and the SPL today.

Yes, Rangers have a minority who are not bigoted and go out to support their team and can do so without sectarian shite. Yes Celtic have that minority too. But at the end of the day both sets of supporters are scum to a large extent and it sickens me to death the City fans who argue about which ones are better than the other.

United have associations with Celtic that go back a few years, and Rangers are coming to town. We all know what happened the last time they were here.

I follow City, and I don't give a toss about Scottish football, but Rangers have a history of trouble in this City going back decades.

United played Rangers in a 'friendly' in the early '70's, and they wrecked the place.

Not much has changed in the decades since then, and being a resident of this City, I don't suppose much will change in the next few weeks.

I don't have a favourite club from Scotland, but I do know a club from Scotland that has fans with huge chips on their shoulders, and it is Rangers.

There are not many people in Manchester at the moment who are looking forward to Rangers fans coming to town, and can you blame us for thinking this way?

After the trouble Rangers caused the last time, I expected there to be thread about them. That's fair enough.

What I don't like though is the fact each thread turns into an argument of "who's the best fans out of rangers and celtic" when most folk on here have absolutely no idea.
