The last time anybody from Kilmarnock was in Europe was when the British landed in Normandy. By all means, have your little laugh, but it's back to the weekly dross of actually having to watch Kilmarnock FC for you at the weekend. My condolences.
What reaction were you seriously expecting from the rest of Scottish football (ignoring Celtic, who obviously despise you, and anyway, can't really crow too much)? The old firm lord it over the rest of Scottish football, so when you get your arses handed to you, of course they're going to take the piss. You'd do the same in their position. So would I. And so would 95% of those on here. The other 5% are lying.

I was wanting Rangers to win but lol when the 7th went in.
Pathetic second half after a good first.

The Scottish League is an abomination. Needs revolutionising but the money required is sadly beyond the means of the league as a whole. Celtic and Rangers play cannon fodder week in, week out, and then people wonder why they're ill-prepared against European pedigree. I honestly think the Scottish Old Firm would be in a relegation scrap if they joined the Premier League.

Good thing then that I don't kid myself on that we're anything above the level which we're at.

That's the difference, and it's the bus (and boat) loads of Rangers and Celtic fans making long depressing journeys home to every corner of Scotland that I take particular delight in, especially the Ayrshire based ones of which there are plenty.

At least one thing has been bottomed out, you're much closer to our level than you are to Liverpool's. You have to live with that, how does it feel to be confirmed as actually being one of those 'diddy clubs' of which you speak?

Celtic and Rangers play cannon fodder every week because they don't allow for other clubs to develop or compete. The first sign of promising players coming through elsewhere in the league and they're taken for peanuts and benched for a couple of years and eventually any potential talent is wasted, time and time again. That and the distribution of finances make it impossible for everyone else to even consider challenging.

To develop themselves they would require to develop others too, and that's something they're unwilling to do. I don't blame them particularly, if they see money as theirs then so be it, but just know that they won't get the opportunity to kick on as they should unless they start to take a longer term approach for the good of the Scottish game and not just themselves.

At least neither Celtic or Rangers will be wrecking Manchester or ripping our seats up this year.

Or singing IRA songs at us in the case of Celtic or wearing utd shirts.

They’d struggle in league one. Made an awful Liverpool look half decent.
