Well we had about 150,000 fans in Seville going by police estimates and not a single arrest.
I'm glad Scottish football is getting the recognition it deserves and I'll watch both sides if they aren't clashing with ours.

If we draw them in the Champs League group stage, I look forward to going to Glasgow and staying in a nice Bed and Buckfast after the match.

Oh come on tell us who it was!

Was it steps?

Coldplay. Went with the Father In Law as he likes them and needed someone to go with. Still not a fan of Chris Martin himself but they put on a cracking show.

Black Lace

Don't knock them mate, first LP that was bought for me I think as a 6 year old who liked Agadoo & Superman lol. And I'm genuinely serious about that! :-)

Coldplay got some good songs, mainly early on in their career and they always put a great concert.

And who didn't dance to Superman in their youth club doing all the actions.

Ski.
Spray..
Kiss........supermaaaaaaaaan....
And go bazzing round the dance floor like a loon.

Great memories with Black Lace.

Agree on all counts. Eventually got the score through when they were playing Yellow, was a pretty surreal moment!

Just realised you're a Rangers fan and not an Arsenal fan.

I'm not very quick on the uptake but the fact it's a Rangers thread is a bit of a giveaway.

Top result last night, Celtic and Rangers both in the champions league is great for Scottish football.

Im a Rangers fan first, but like Arsenal as well. When we were young, in our town it was all Rangers fans, we all ended up naturally liking different English teams & that allowed us to have a bit of rivalry banter. My first live English game I remember watching on TV was Anfield 89, loved the story & drama as an 8 year old just properly discovering football, & liked them ever since.

To be honest, the English league is that massive now, that I think a lot of the youngsters now in Scotland have an English team they at least favour.

It will be great for the old firm but most certainly won't be great for the rest of Scottish football.
While the countries coefficient will improve making European qualification slightly more likely for the lesser clubs, the old firm- everyone else gulf will only widen.
A move for both to a different league would be beneficial for all concerned, but this is highly unlikely.

Couldn't watch the game last night because I was at a gig I'm not sure it's cool enough to say lol.

Had a signal to check scores all the way to the 91st minute then signal dies, no Internet or phone signal.

The 10 minutes or so to my wife & sons text coming through was a long 10 minutes.
Serves you right for going to a concert when your side had such a big game!

My wife makes plans around City fixtures.

Why wouldn't it be good? Gets Scottish football on the European spectrum again.

Who do you follow?

Was with the Father In Law. Tickets for this were bought 12 months ago, this game was only set a couple of weeks back. He had no one else to go with. To get me to go he said he'd pay for them and then very kindly afterwards told me it was my Xmas present from him & the Mother In Law. :-)

I'll be honest, i thought the game was on the Tuesday up to a few days beforehand. Both USG games and the first leg of this were the Tuesday I'm sure, so just assumed this 1 would be the same....doh!

Couldn't let him down last minute, couldn't do that to him.

Fair enough, guess I’d have done the same in your situation.

I left a family meal early on Sunday to watch City haha!
