You're a different level because we've still not sorted out the defence / goalkeeper area. Your goals weren't from swashbuckling attacking, they were nearly all defensive howlers.

Im not playing down the result, but it's what I feared. And this isn't me saying it after the game. I've said from the the start of the season Sands is a midfielder playing defence, and today it showed. Didn't have the defensive instinct to track Abada for his goals. Criminal. We've spend £4M on Ben Davies and he's barely kicked a ball, he's injured as much as Souttar it seems.

McLaughlin's a no 2, not a number 1. Should have saved the first, nutmegged for the 3rd, and least said about the 4th the better.

I'll be honest, i was more impressed with your performance in the 3-0 game at the start of the year. That had an element of surprise. We needed a wake up call, we needed to be switched on more defensively, and I felt that's exactly what we were the last couple of Old Firm games of the season.

We've went backwards in that regard though, and it's like we were playing you for the first time again. We know what to expect, quick throws, quick free kicks, Abada & Jota arriving in the box, we know all this. We just chose to be passive and lethargic.

And its not excuses. You are the better team. When we defend properly, I don't believe its like the gap we seen yesterday, & it's a lot closer than you think, but you are better.

Players and manager need a good look in the mirror, and we need to get guys like Davies, Lawrence & Morelos fit and get the team settled.

It’s not just your defence. If you think that you are not accepting the reality. You have no real class in midfield so you have to play sidey sidey and then lump the ball into the box. We can and do destroy teams because we have the players who can unlock them. We have scoring threats all over the park. You simply don’t. You had about 400 passes along the back line. Every single time we regained the ball we were at your throats in seconds. Even losing Kyogo in the first minutes didn’t alter us. Big Gio took the game to your central defenders and gave them a torrid time. Our midfield has the guile and ability to make passes yours simply doesn’t possess. Reverting to the he should have saved three of them is nonsense but crack on. The bottom line for you is simple, we have too much and you are basically a defensive set up to catch teams on the counter. We press better than anybody you have played in Europe and we would have beaten them all too. Then we beat you to prove it. You have to go until at least January with a squad devoid of real class in the middle. Your defence isn’t great either. Aberdeen next week is like our trip there last season where we had to win. We did and you do too. If you don’t it’s game over

There's more than 1 way to play mate, and more than 1 way to win a game of football. You say we are set up to play defensive counter attacking football, if that's the case and the defence is a weakness then yeah you have a big problem, and that's the defence.

You had much the same players playing in the last 2 Old Firm games of the season, in fact none of your new signings started yesterday, and yet those were much more even contests? So why is that? We defended much better that's why. We lost Bassey and replaced him yesterday with a midfielder, and we lost Aribo and replaced him with a kid that looked a bit shell shocked yesterday.

So yeah, you are a good attacking team, and when you play a good attacking team, if you don't defend well against them, they can punish you, and that's exactly what you did yesterday. It was fully deserved, you won't hear me say otherwise.

We are playing better with the same players because they are another year on. Know each other better. Know the movement. Teams who play together get better. So looking back and saying it’s the same time we did well against us nuts. There are more ways to win games but the way you play is as boring as fuck. Check out FF for the same view. Every single goal that has ever been scored could theoretically be stopped. They aren’t and if you focus on that whilst creating absolutely fuck all and think that will work, then crack on. You have nothing in your midfield to continually cut through teams. That and a defence that is vulnerable is your problem. Funny how when we used to lose goals through our worse defence nobody made excuses about that. You do it and somehow you would win without them. Deluded way to look at it. You haven’t the guile and your midfield is pish. They can only stop play if the opposition aren’t good enough, we are. . But as a spectacle it’s like watching pain dry. I couldn’t believe you didn’t bring in another creative midfielder. Jack, Arfield, Ludstrum, Wright are all honest players, they aren’t gifted and that’s what you need. I hope you continue to focus on excuses and how if my aunty had balls she would be my uncle. Watch the game again and see the difference in class. Or don’t, we will focus on getting better. If you ignore the gap it will only get wider. Ange will keep moving forward, his recruitment has been amazing and if we win the league it’s straight into the CL again. Holding onto our players is our task. But we will get millions for them and he just needs to continue to buy class and will have the money to. All of our subs would walk into your team. That has to be a worry.
 
You say it's boring, you say there's no guile, but we've not had a problem scoring goals until yesterday. We didn't have a problem scoring goals at the end of last season, and we didn't have a problem scoring goals in our Europa League final run. So, while it's not as swashbuckling as yourselves, we can score goals. Generally, that's not the problem.

We signed Lawrence, and we signed Tilman. Lawrence has been doing ok and chipped in with some goals already, he was injured yesterday. Tilman was doing ok as well but just seemed overwhelmed yesterday. He's a young guy, he'll learn. Both these are creative midfielders. We have Roofe and Morelos that can come back in and help give us options up front.

Im not downplaying you guys. I'm giving you credit. To have any chance vs you, to stop you from playing, you have to be solid, you have to have a good defence, and you need your goalkeeper to be on his game. You stay solid early, you don't let you get ahead early and get a steam up. Weather the early storm. We didn't do any of that yesterday.

It’s always have to ge solid, meaning hack us. Lunbstrum crocked Kyogo. Nothing. Goodson elbowed Jota, nothing. Here’s a idea. Why not play football and stop trying to cut us down? That’s an acceptance you can’t compete on ability and as in the semi lunsdtum was allowed to get away with fucking murder. Could have had a penalty too.

Tillman I think is good, he was left bewildered yesterday and needs time on the ball. Good luck with that. Lawrence I don’t rate. He’s ok. Roofe is another I don’t rate. Morelos is a liability. As I said to you before Gunner, this is a judgement call. I never said I was right. It’s how I see it. I’ve been wrong before and will be again. But, it doesn’t happen too often. ;)

I take nothing for granted when we play you. Never have and never will. I think we are better and will win but I am too long in the game to count any fucking chickens.

If we play the way we can and with our bench I think we can do it. But, I’ve said that before.

He hasn’t sussed out Scottish football at all. He still thinks the safety first, conservative approach that works in Europe is fine for the kick and rush domestic game. He won’t change his tactics.

He doesn’t have the players to play fast incisive attacking football. Changing tactics to ask players to be what they aren’t is his problem. You can have fantastic tactics but as soon as technically limited players cross the line, they can’t cut it. You can’t even do it against the smaller teams here, never mind us. You should have addressed this in the widow. Tillman is technically good but operates like he’s just smoked a five skinner.

Last year after all….but you are still the best team in the history of football, obviously. ;)
