Rangers Thread - 2023/24

Is that advantage Rangers in the league, with the League Cup in the bag, the Scottish Cup yet to start and still in Europe?
Huge blow tonight losing Lundstram. Waiting to see it in Sportscene but it looked a shocker of a challenge!! He’s been our best outfield player thus season. Roofe looks as if he’s done. We need Cifuentes, Dowell and Sterling to play in the middle and Dessers now the only fit striker!

Leagues are not won in November/ December but they can be thrown away. Then again some thought the treble was decided in August hahaha

Special mention to Rangers for bringing out Santa after the poor reception he got at Celtic Park on Saturday.

“The best way to spread Christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear.”

Biggest cheer of the night.

Was it ever in doubt? We all knew Santa is one of our own!!

So that’s what almost happened in 2016. That Halliday dressed as Santa?

Huge game today with a truly awful weather and truly kick off time!

No Barisic again!

Positive is Cantwell is back but our two in the middle will be Sterling and Dowell. Not exactly ideal but we will overcome.

Any win will do!

Just seen the run Motherwell are on at the moment. If you can't beat them*, you may as well give the trophy to your lovely neighbours this evening.

*You'll hammer them, though.

We struggled against them at Ibrox. If iirc it was 1-0 win but Rangers were booed off the pitch

Celtic recently struggled against them. Well equalised in injury time and their wee Ned’s in the corner dived on the pitch. This added more time and Celtic grabbed a winner with last kick off the ball

Tight pitch, dreadful weather, they have played better than results may suggest, we never seem
To win convincingly there. They have to win sometime. We have no holding midfielders and our third choice striker playing.

Obviously we will be odds on favourites but it’s never routine there. If we score early then it’ll be fine but the longer it remains goalless then the more they’ll grow in confidence.
