Huge game today. No point clawing back an 8 point lead only to fall in the very next game and that game could hardly be more difficult. Hearts are the form team , along with Rangers.
Not been this nervous for a normal league game in many many years. We win today and go 5 clear put huge pressure on them but lose today and give them a huge incentive away to a very average Motherwell
Anyway off to the match I go.

Hearts took one for the big team today, very commendable
Let’s hope they do the big team a turn next weekend.
Clement has not made many mistakes since he arrived but starting Barisic ahead of the inform Ridvan was a shocker. OK Barisic was fouled (accidentally) before penalty but he was given a torrid time in the first half
Silva trying to play football on that pitch in the wind and rain. It was never going to happen and made life very easy for Mayo and Findlay. Dessers coming on put them under pressure and he deserved his goal when ball came back off bar
Cortez going off with what looked like a hammy is a sore one as he’s looked excellent.
Great save by Butland just after the break was massive. What a signing he has been. Unfortunately we will lose him to an EPL club but we ll enjoy him while we have him
That’s our two most difficult pre split fixtures out the way and we’ve taken full points. On to Saturday and Motherwell at Ibrox

Great away win on the plastic pitch. The sooner these are ripped up the better.
Was a massive 3 points that mate, probably the hardest ground in Scotland to play at just now for various reasons.
I’m a big admirer of the job McInnes is doing there. The squad he’s built on next to nothing , they are not the prettiest to watch but it works for them.
