Shit.
we sold him for 8 million to schalke been about sinceWas that lad Matondo at City ?
Indeed switched it on for second half it was a decent game ..Enjoyed that decent game of football, next week should a top game.
I’d rather another wee 1-0Rangers will need to ride their luck, but they can definitely get a result over there. I'm sure they'd take pens now.
Another decent euro rangers game, they always kind of a throwback to what football used to be like.I’d rather another wee 1-0
A game away at Ross County first. More game time for Cifuentes and Danilo
That goal and recent performances will hopefully help Matondos confidence. He has struggled but is beginning to look like the player we hoped we were getting
Raskin had a tough night but he’s a player. Belgian U21 and is a poor man’s KDB. Him and Cantwell could be huge for us next week. Big decision from referee not to send Cantwell off
Nice one, hopefully PSV finish them off next week.
PSV looked a very good side, will be very tough for Rangers over therebe 1-0 or 2-1 rangers :-)
Rangers did better than I thought they would. But they really could have done with taking a two goal lead over to Holland next week. It'll be tough for them. Do the losers in these qualifiers go into the Europa League?
Unfortunately, true. But even winning the EL would bring in a few million euro, which you won't get from Sky.Yeah, losers straight into Europa League group. To be honest, that's more our level, it's just the finances that come with the Champions League that's are so appealing.
Winning the previous round guaranteed Rangers a minimum £5 million pay day.Unfortunately, true. But even winning the EL would bring in a few million euro, which you won't get from Sky.
I know you want to beat Celtic to the league. I get it, I really do. But what's the prize money for winning the SPFL, in comparison to qualifying for the CL group stages? Or even the EL. In terms solely of finance, it's a no brainer as to what should be your priority. Not sure the majority of the fanbase would agree, mind!Winning the previous round guaranteed Rangers a minimum £5 million pay day.
We are guaranteed at least three sell out games at Ibrox and then the group stage money whether that is Champions League / Europa League depends on next week
The way the money is divided by UEFA means if we qualify for Champions League it’ll cut into Celtics earnings. If we drop into Europa and Aberdeen qualify it will also cut our money
These pay days are huge to Scottish clubs
Celtic are in the group stages of the Champions League. As things stand they are guaranteed ALL the TV money as Scotlands sole representative. If Rangers get a result next week we share that money with them. That’s why it matters we get there!I know you want to beat Celtic to the league. I get it, I really do.
