Nope I call it out wherever I see it regardless of the colour of scarf you wear. I’ve a wee Fanny from Greenock that sits two rows in front of me that has not spoken to me for years after he overstepped the mark!
I’ve been over this topic a few times. My wife is an RC. My youngest daughter is an RC. I have had many run ins with knuckledraggers over the years as one of my best mates is a true blue Rangers fan that just happens to be an RC.
I could go on and on but I really don’t need to justify myself as I don’t use bigoted language as I’m not a bigot. I was a Rangers fan long before I knew what religion was. I’m well aware of my club’s past. I can’t do anything about that but I can do my bit to improve the future and calling it out wherever I see it as my bit.
I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt and willing to accept you might not Have known it was a derogatory bigoted term.
All clubs have supporters they wish they didn’t. I was at Ibrox when the Aberdeen support disgraced themselves during the minutes silence for Scotland Great George Young. Thankfully, unlike other clubs, Aberdeen took immediate action and banned many.
Anyway enjoy your evening.
