Rangers v Celtic.

Celtic were robbed again. Brown should never have been sent off and Bougherra shouldn't have made it to half time, joke of a referee.

wasnt a sending off but i dont feel sorry for celtic. i cant sympathise with a set of fans who sing songs about the IRA and bring anti tevez banners to eastlands.

As someone from an Irish Catholic background they are a disgrace. The pro-IRA chants, the disgraceful behaviour during the minute's silence at the Falkirk match.

And Rangers are equally as bad. The way they trashed Manchester over a broken screen, after pelting the people who came to fix it with missiles, and their racist chants.

With most football rivalries, it's usually over locality, us and the rags, Villa and Birmingham, Liverpool and Everton, Spurs and Arsenal, etc., but The Old Firm just use the pitch as a battlefield for their holy war. A plague on both houses.

Been to Glasgow loads of times, not got much time for either set of fans to be honest but Celtic are slightly less likeable in my opinion.

Just hope a bomb doesn't go off on match day and kill loads of their fans. Irony can be a woman sometimes.

The thing is, Celtic fans have this whole anti-British attitude yet they support a British team. It's even more laughable when you see Irish people (and not these plastic paddies born and bred in Glasgow that make up a lot of their fanbase) announcing their support for them then spouting crap about how the British are evil.

Both teams just have this fucked up mentality, bringing politics and religion into a place where it's innapropriate. I wonder if Glasgow Warriors have a Protestant/Catholic following.
