Rangnick quits consultancy role (Pg 89)

Not sure how accurate this is.

A Rag mate says Brendan Rogers will be manager next season.

Has been looking at Houses in Cheshire.

That it is all agreed and being kept quiet.

I am actually quite happy about this news if true.

I think he is their standard ,not ours.

Plus i am hoping Pep will stay much longer, and leave a City Legacy comparable to past great League managers.
It’s all over the media but could be nothing. Hope it’s true though the raggies would go ape-shit appointing an ex-Dipper man.

If it's true the pattern will be they will all get giddy and say he's the best manager in the business. They will win their first few games and proclaim that the PL is theirs. After about 6 weeks, when they are in 6th place, they will say he just needs time to get his philosophy across. By Jan when they are out of contention for everything they will start to question why he was appointed. By 12 -18 months they will be giving him a massive payoff to leave and they will then start the cycle again.

It's pretty well known he has been after a house in Cheshire.
His wife is from round there so might not be too much in it.

It’s in the daily united mail. So it must be true.

I heard this (possibly on here?) a few months ago.
