Rodgers is a good coach. With a bigger budget he would do well. His problem has been that disaster of a defence; mainly due to injuries. Would turn rags into a counter attacking team, better than Ole for sure.

He doesn’t have the respect to manage world class players and the level they want to be at needs world class players that will have a certain expectation of the manager. He’ll be sacked within 36 months. Unless they want to be a Leipzig, Arsenal, which they don’t.

From the bit I know about Roy was he not a bit of a forward thinker and the resilience to cope with multiple setbacks etc? Surely he'd be an upgrade?
