Rare City Shirt for Sale

Some shirt collectors will pay through the nose to obtain a rare one.

I’m not really buying them anymore but once paid £225 for a vintage Wales top.

I too have the same shirt in fantastic condition but minus the sleeve chevrons as they cracked and virtually disappeared after a few washes. I hand picked evey bit off as it looked crap! Does anyone know if it is possible to buy them and iron them on?

It's currently on £970 with 6 days to go.
Latest bidder has one feedback.

I'm wondering if it's fans of rival clubs who have no intention of buying it. Like when stuff like Prime energy drinks went viral and people were bidding hundreds for a bottle for a laugh

Are these genuine bids as £900 at this stage of the auction seems incredibly high & I can't t see why anyone would pay anything like that for an unsigned shirt? I know eBay doesn't show all bids in the history but one person seems to be bidding against themself!!.
Will have the Premier League investigating artificially inflating the price of vintage replica shirts......

As you say, very strange the bidder was bidding against themselves. Smells of getting a mate to bid to push the price up. The £75 bidder looks like a trader sniffing a profit.
First, and probably last thing I’ll ever sell on EBay; brand new to it all. I was only recently alerted to the “rarity” of this particular kit and remembered I had it, never worn it so it’s in fantastic condition. Unlike several other tops, I have no affinity to it, hence the sale.
One sold recently for just under a grand and had the decals missing from the sleeve (mine has everything perfectly intact) so mine might make similar £.
If it does, great, if not I’ll hang on to it.

Appreciate it’s “only” a replica but for some reason it seems to be somewhat sort after.
