Rate Mancini out of 5 in catergories

Tactics - 3 - When it works it it works, when it doesn't we look bloody awful.
Substitutions - 1 - Can't remember a game changing sub he's made for us in 18 months.
Man management - 2 - Unless you're one of his favourites he's very distant.
Media skills - 4 - Has a bit of a laugh with 'em, and pretends not to understand when he doesn't want to answer a question.

10/20.
Pretty much this. The biggest thing he needs to improve on is his relationship with the full squad. Most don't give their all for the manager.

Please could you explain a good example of his man management which makes him 5 out of 5. Or maybe you have misunderstood the marking system.

Sure, i think Mancini is seriously good emotional and mental Coach. He can build and lead a Team with 26+ Players, difficult Characters included. Roberto simply has these "talking" qualities, guess you got a picture of what I mean.

Therefore, the Topic Starter separates Tactics from Man management i can give 5 of 5 for it. The tactics, subs are something else.

I was going to write a smartass comment about there only being 4 categories and not 5 like the title said, just caught myself in time.

Anyway I like the idea of the tactics and style of play Mancini is using and it's nice to watch sometimes but it just isn't effective most of the time in this league. - 2

Subs I can't remember any good well timed substitutions apart from Silva vs Blackpool and Johnson vs Newcastle. Some of them are very strange and require muliple players shifting positions when a like for like swap would have been the easier option. - 2

Man management fell out with a load of players and only got the best out of a very few (individuals like Zabaleta and de Jong who I think would maintain a high level of performace no matter who the manager was.) Seems unable to motivate his own signings in particular. - 2

Media skills When he first joined I was fine with him not really saying anything in interviews but at this stage he needs to communicate more. - 3
